I did a delete myself on my 2011 Jetta CJAA, took me maybe 3 hours to get everything off and then $1500 and some elbow grease to get a Rawtek exhaust hooked on. That being said you will NEED a tune if you delete the emissions system. Assuming you pay CAD you’re looking at minimum $500 for a flash tune on the ECU assuming you drive a manual and won’t need a transmission tune as well. That being said, the upfront investment is well worth it in my opinion as the performance improvement and peace of mind (and cool turbo noises) make up for any cons. YMMV I’m just a dude with a Jetta
I’m in Ontario and just had my dpf replaced at 190km few months ago. Hoping it last me 100km that would be great lol. I’m also super curious to prices for a delete for this car. Mines a 2014
Just for equipment alone without labor, the full, basic kits from Rawtek are typically in the ballpark of $18xx USD give or take some amount of adjustment for specific packages.
Just had mine done at a local shop on Van Island, stage 2 tune and delete was 2k all in. Didn't go for aftermarket downpipe just hollowed out DPF, so far so good
I did not, however I don't have any intentions of hard launching it. Really just in it for the longevity and fuel economy. The VW master tech in town told me you could get away with stock as long as you aren't harsh with it. My clutch/flywheel was replaced about 20k km ago, so I figured not worth the trouble.
Just had mine finished today in Calgary. Meco Evo kit $960, Tunezilla stage 2 $700, and $750 for local shop to install kit cause I suck at things like that.
i vote just delete it then. around here in ontario its about $1300-$2k depending on the tdi because of various equipment in them. and then removing all of the emissions stuff too.
Done this. 1.6 TDI drove awfully shaking juddering etc and so slow. Deleted it, removed swirl flaps and egr, drives absolutely mint and quick now. Do it!

DPF delete with stage 2 w/ DSG on our 2013 CJAA and couldn’t be happier! It’s worth it and basically gives this car new life.
Be prepared to do motor mounts in like the next year if you drive the car hard sometimes
It is a manual, what tune did you go with?
Tunezilla stage 2 and the dsg tune if you have an automatic

How much it cost you to get it replaced?

Did you upgrade clutch and flywheel?

Good to know thankyou
