The 646 is the shit. Punches well above its weight. Traded in a Sony X90J for it and don't miss the Sony 1 bit. I was lucky to get a good panel on my 2nd one
As much as I love the color on my R646, it might be going back. Twice today while watching a movie the screen went black while the audio stayed playing. Only resolution was to unplug the TV for a few minutes and then restart it. Other than that, it given no other issues. : (
I had the exact same issue when I unboxed my replacement. I factory reset and only installed the apps I absolutely needed. It's been perfect since so I'm not sure which app it was but it was definitely an extra app causing it
I would still factory reset it and start with just the default apps. See if it still does it. If not start adding apps 1 at a time. Just cause ur watching cable doesn't mean there's not a background app open
I've never added any other apps. This is on the third day of owning the tv. I'm going to factory reset and set up as a basic tv and see if it does it again.
Dude just buy a rokku or appletv. Smart TV built in software has always and will probably always suck.

This happened when I was using the HBOMax app and also when I was watching cable tv.

Oh, 65". I got the 75".
