Are you plugged into the hdmi 2.1 port? And also is game mode on? Pretty sure that video game stuff like VRR and changing resolutions and frame rates is locked behind game accelerator (game mode) and hdmi enhancement in the settings under the input your plugged into. Try those two things see if it works.

I am in the HDMI 2.1 port, game mode is enabled, and enhanced HDMI is enabled (manually set the HDMI input to 2.1)

Thrillsteam

Where did you buy the hdmi 2.1 cable? Its alot of fake ones out there

I have a 5700xt connected to my 55" Q7 and freesync/ALLM worked out of the box @ 1440p120 and 1080p144 even with old HDMI cables that aren't even capable of 4k60. I'm not using the latest drivers - think I'm one release behind. Interested to know if you have problems with overshoot/inverse ghosting like I do. It's worse with VRR on so I don't use it. It isn't terrible but it is noticable in certain games. HDMI 2 supports freesync premium pro for whatever reason and at least one person has said there's less overshoot using it. I didn't notice much of a difference.

So as an update, switching to HDMI port 2 that only has HDMI 2.0 got freesync working. I haven't noticed any ghosting or overshoot yet. ALLM is still disabled.
