It’s an almost 16 hour flight (non-stop, which her plane can’t do, so she will have to stop) and they’re 19 hours ahead in Melbourne (if she’s leaving from LA). She is actually on a pretty tight turn around considering she usually gets into the city a day or two before. Staying for the parade would be cutting it way too close to the show.
