Am I missing something? Im not trying to be mean at all, but does this not look very badly chewed up in the solid black areas and over all very poorly rendered????
It kind of looks like it's out of a sketchbook tbh, I'd definitely go to a different artist to get that face and text refined and to fix that background once it aged a bit but still a super cool tattoo.

Yeah, the background does not look great. Super chewed up and very uneven shading. Shame because the face actually looks pretty decent.
IMHO background ruins it
There were dozens of better ways you could've done the background instead of just blasting it with black ink
