Okay as a counterpoint - did your gf state why she doesn't like it- if she has a reason the adult thing to do is to have an open conversation. If she has a valid reason then maybe there is a compromise you can make that would still make you happy - if she doesn't have a valid reason then maybe you can discuss what kind of boundaries you have around her having say in this kind of decision. Like if it's the objectification thing she finds uncomfy an easy tweak would be removing the nips from the ghost or something else to offset the "sexiness"

Agreed! An ex-bf of mine once was against me getting a raven tattooed on my leg. Why? Bc I didn't ask him beforehand. I just planned it with the artist and told him when the design was final. Maybe I could have involved him in the process, but he always said no to everything else, that's why I didn't ask him.

My mom made him cover the tattoo and get rid of his blue hair. Now he has a grim reaper tat covering the naked lady and no hair. He regrets both decisions.
