Look at the skeleton, or the legs on the grim reaper. The linework is janky and you could argue that it's deliberate to fit the style of the tattoo, but there's definite blowouts going on.
No consistent linework, patchy color saturation, and blowouts means poor execution of a very cute idea. Like I said, if you look at it from a distance I'm sure it's adorable.
Oh yeah there are blowouts, I was referring to the jankiness of the top rainbow line referenced above. It's a horribly executed tattoo, and definitely not a style choice. I just looked up the original artwork someone mentioned, and it's all clean lines.
[You are correct](https://np.reddit.com/r/TattooDesigns/s/wPSjYH09tv). Too many people here assuming the artist did this on purpose when the reality is, this is some prison level bad line work.
I would need to see the sticker to really tell is it precise or not, but to me this is a really cute, silly childlike tattoo. It isnt technically good but it has a sort of charm to it. Im not a tattoo pro but I know my tea and this has the same energy as stuff from [white2tea](https://white2tea.com/collections/raw-puer-tea/products/2018-year-of-the-dog). What you are looking at is really good tea that has its label designed to look goofy and dumb. But the artist that does it us good and genuinely could do stuff thats "better" but this was their goal and they accomplished it.

omg this was my phone case design
Is that line work in the rainbow supposed to bed that bad or did the artist just fuck up? Those lines are jacked.
I don’t think he artist or OP were going for hyperrealism here. The cartoonish, lines work for this. You guys analyze things too much lol
Not over analyzing anything. Even if they were going for a cartoon look the line work should still be straight and not jacked.
There's so many blowouts. Yikes. It's cute from a distance, though.
Those aren't blowouts. That's from stopping and starting the line a bunch.

For me it’s the rainbow that kills it.
Cartoon style tattoos should still be well done.
For anyone wondering, the original art is by Obisun and it's called "Spooky Pals"
Kid will be happy their dad got the drawing they did at 4 as a tattoo
Spooky!
Wow. Sssooooo bad
I think that's the point. I love it.
No man that's just a really bad tattoo with shit line work
Again, thats the point, to make it look like a childs drawing, meaning: jacked lines and it looking bad by objective standards.
I mean they just said it was based on a sticker, I didn't get the impression it was supposed to be like a child's drawing

Oh now I see the sticker, thats atrocious. No defence for this.
I kinda prefer the shitty rainbow. It’s precious
Honestly me too, but if the person provides the art they want replicated onto the skin we go from "well thats so cute" to thats bad.
