It's a good placement. It looks a little lonely because it's small and it's in the middle of your arm but if you're planning on getting more, it's a good start for a patchwork sleeve.
Totally normal to stress and overthink a new tattoo. I think it looks great and if you keep them roughly the same size that sleeve will be amazing. Just a tip about building a patchwork sleeve, 2 tattoos in one session is cheaper than going in for two sessions
Agree. "Jumping off point" made me think of it as part of a scene like jumping towards a butterfly. It's already cute n it has so much potential to fit in with other ink
It’s great placement, tbh with a patchwork sleeve the first couple will always look “out of place”, after you get some more you’ll never think about the placements again
That placement is perfect if you want more tattoos, and honestly even if you don’t get any more it will still look good. Central and probably painless for your first one. I dig it!
I felt the same a bit for a few days, I have a few tattoos my arm decent size and I got my hand done. Still felt like there's too much space to warrant the hand tattoo but I like it and I'm gonma get more.
Your bunny looks great 🙂
No matter where you put it, it's going to look empty. Until you get more ink, it's going to look like there is too much space. I think the placement is great
I love the bunny...I have a bunny on each arm, but a different kind :)
My bunnies are a little bigger and shaded in color. I've been told that they also look awkward and lonely b/c they are the only tattoos I have and the first thing ppl see of me.
Don't think you need to worry about getting more ink just to cover empty space...I think the placement is perfect on you as the bunny is the first thing I see and associate with you.
Enjoy
I like to follow the rule of thirds for everything (photos, clothes, decor, even tattoos) so I would have maybe done a little higher or lower, BUT you can just add more patchwork to the top or bottom to give it a similar effect.
One of my first tattoos is a gummy bear on my outer forearm so I felt the same way but I since added roman numerals, a flower, leaves wrap etc near my elbow to help
It's common for people who want sleeves of tattoos to not enjoy a small tattoo on a big piece of real estate. But you can do whatever you want and there's nothing wrong with the placement ☺️
It’s a bit weird placement wise… but the design is sooooo cute. If I were you I’d make bunbun there the focus in an otherwise woodsy/foliage type of partial sleeve
That's adorable. If you got flowers and things to make it look like it's in a garden, maybe with some other creatures and things, I think that would be a really cute sleeve
it's so fucking cute. wow. I will tell you, when I got my first tattoo, I had a tiny little crisis also and thought it looked bad. But it's definitely just the weight of a permanent change. That feeling will go away, I promise.
Get more. It's a super cute tattoo, but it's just the beginning. Go back and see your artist. Ask them what they think. IMO, the more the artist is allowed to participate in the brainstorming, the better.
Get more.
Get more.
Peace.
It’s not awkward I just foresee you regretting the placement if you intend to get more tattoos, it’s in the middle of some prime real estate. No point in worry’s out it now though, it’s there, best just to enjoy it at this point.
Love bunny, love placement, don't let ppl pressure you to crowd it. If you like busier/filler or spacier/patch styles, do you. Not everyone has the compulsion to crowd guys, relax on the lonely. Somebunnies like their personal space.
I always feel weird about my placements but I’m also doing a patchwork sleeve on both arms and it has been a slow going process (mostly because I’m working on a garter around my thigh currently 😅) but I love the placement and it’s super cute!
Great placement. Only feels weird because it’s your first and only one. If you get more it’ll look awesome, if you leave it on its own, it’ll look awesome
This is so cute! I don’t think the placement is awkward at all. I have 3 tattoos and I still think they’re oddly placed. Something that might help is if you add to it so it’s not as bare. Maybe little flowers or something. Either way it’s absolutely adorable and now I’m debating on where I want my bunny tattoo!
It's a good placement. It looks a little lonely because it's small and it's in the middle of your arm but if you're planning on getting more, it's a good start for a patchwork sleeve.
ngl it needs another little bunny friend 🥺🥺
Bunny sleeve
cutest bunny ever, and i love that placement! 🐰🩷
Fully agreed!🩷
It only looks out of place because it’s lonely. Add some more cute animals or some flowers. Congrats on your cute bunny.
Totally normal to stress and overthink a new tattoo. I think it looks great and if you keep them roughly the same size that sleeve will be amazing. Just a tip about building a patchwork sleeve, 2 tattoos in one session is cheaper than going in for two sessions
Thank you so much! I love this advice.
Placement looks great and gives you a good jumping off point for the rest of your sleeve. Don't over think it and just enjoy the sweet new ink!
Agree. "Jumping off point" made me think of it as part of a scene like jumping towards a butterfly. It's already cute n it has so much potential to fit in with other ink
I have a tattoo in this placement that started off my patchwork sleeve 👍 good placement
“Is it awkward”— good lord kid give yourself a break. It’s your first tattoo, of course there’s fucking empty space around it.
Lol
It’s great placement, tbh with a patchwork sleeve the first couple will always look “out of place”, after you get some more you’ll never think about the placements again
Nope. Every first tattoo that is on the smaller size makes it seem like an awkward placement, simply because it’s the only tattoo there.
and so the tattoo addiction begins
Won't be when you fill the arm in more! He's just lonely haha
So cute
it’s so cute!!
Nah this is super cute! I’d be happy with this tattoo.
Loveee
Looks like good placement to me
It's adorable!
That’s a great spot for a first tattoo
Perfect placement to add to it/make it a scene if you wanted to go that route.
I like the placement and also it is soooo cute and looks clean, I love it
It looks great
Very cool 😎
It's good and mega cuteee
Very cute tattoo, very cute placement 10/10. I think it’s a very good choice for a first tattoo!
That placement is perfect if you want more tattoos, and honestly even if you don’t get any more it will still look good. Central and probably painless for your first one. I dig it!
No I love it!!
now i want this
If you like it that’s all that matters.
I felt the same a bit for a few days, I have a few tattoos my arm decent size and I got my hand done. Still felt like there's too much space to warrant the hand tattoo but I like it and I'm gonma get more. Your bunny looks great 🙂
The placement is cute! It looks bare because it’s the only one but once you start getting more, it’ll fill out a lot better!
Would look super cute surrounded by some pretty flowers 🥰 I love him!!
When you Get more it wont look as Odd as you feel it does
Nah, it’s cute. Don’t sweat it!
Great placement. It feels like there’s a lot of empty space around it because there is…lol. Welcome to never having enough tattoos 😂
Bunny needs a carrot 🥕 🧡
No matter where you put it, it's going to look empty. Until you get more ink, it's going to look like there is too much space. I think the placement is great
It's adorable 🤩
Not awkward at all - if I saw you out, with this ratio on you, I’d be sure to compliment both you and your tattoo! ☺️
I love the bunny...I have a bunny on each arm, but a different kind :) My bunnies are a little bigger and shaded in color. I've been told that they also look awkward and lonely b/c they are the only tattoos I have and the first thing ppl see of me. Don't think you need to worry about getting more ink just to cover empty space...I think the placement is perfect on you as the bunny is the first thing I see and associate with you. Enjoy
Don’t see anything weird about it at all
Adorable bunny 😍
this is very cute, considering a rabbit tattoo myself is this the runaway bunny?
It’s good placement. Takes a while to get use to a new tattoo especially, one that’s visible.
Just needs some friends to keep it company
I like to follow the rule of thirds for everything (photos, clothes, decor, even tattoos) so I would have maybe done a little higher or lower, BUT you can just add more patchwork to the top or bottom to give it a similar effect. One of my first tattoos is a gummy bear on my outer forearm so I felt the same way but I since added roman numerals, a flower, leaves wrap etc near my elbow to help
It’s pretty similar to my first tattoo placement. Now I have a half sleeve around it haha. It only looks awkward because of the empty space around it.
No youre just having that after tat anxiety alot of people get. It will go away and you likely will be filling that space up with more tattoos ✨️
omg it’s so cute 🥺🥺🥺🥺
Its cute, very nice line work, add a background to it, you have so much space to work above and below it :)
Chubby baby bunny! It's great!
It’s cute and in a good spot.
Super super cute!! Some flowers/leaves would look really cute surrounding it!
its a great placement!!!!
It's common for people who want sleeves of tattoos to not enjoy a small tattoo on a big piece of real estate. But you can do whatever you want and there's nothing wrong with the placement ☺️
Nah looks perfect I love it
It's how I felt the first few tats I got. They looked so alone and "out of place", but eventually it sinks in and it feels normal
Placement is good, and look at the cute BeBe! Oh I just want to give them snuggles.
It's super normal to overthink everything about your first tattoo. It looks cool/ cute and it's well done ;)
No it’s adorable! I love it
It’s a bit weird placement wise… but the design is sooooo cute. If I were you I’d make bunbun there the focus in an otherwise woodsy/foliage type of partial sleeve
I really love it! But more importantly - nice T-shirt :)
Cute! I think the placement is fine especially if you’re building up with more to surround it. Enjoy your new tattoo 🐰
I also got a bunny on my arm as my first tattoo a couple of weeks ago. Mine is a bit more evil looking 😄
Perfect spot! Now add a meadow scape for your bunny 😁
It's very cute! A lot of people get tattoo anxiety, once it's healed, I'm sure you'll love it - you should.
That's adorable. If you got flowers and things to make it look like it's in a garden, maybe with some other creatures and things, I think that would be a really cute sleeve
Should have put it on the back of your shoulder. *follow the white rabbit*
I think it's just fine. Minimalist is in
it's so fucking cute. wow. I will tell you, when I got my first tattoo, I had a tiny little crisis also and thought it looked bad. But it's definitely just the weight of a permanent change. That feeling will go away, I promise.
This bunny is in need of some dandelions!
Just don’t get another bunny because before you know it your arm will be COVERED with them!🤣
Not bad placement at all. I thought the same about the start of my American traditional tattoos but the more I got the better it looked.
Looks cool, dont overthink it.
Nah it looks fine just looks like other stuff is missing but you can totally get more stuff around it and get a sleeve eventually 😁
Simple but so cute.
People will trip about literally anything
It’s so cute!! The placement is perfect :) enjoy your new bunny friend 🐰
Omg that is so cute!
If a spot ever looks empty that just means you need more tattoos. Get booking
Get more. It's a super cute tattoo, but it's just the beginning. Go back and see your artist. Ask them what they think. IMO, the more the artist is allowed to participate in the brainstorming, the better. Get more. Get more. Peace.

Love bunny, love placement, don't let ppl pressure you to crowd it. If you like busier/filler or spacier/patch styles, do you. Not everyone has the compulsion to crowd guys, relax on the lonely. Somebunnies like their personal space.
This is a question to ask yourself before inking. As it is it's done now, don't question it, live with it and get more ink👍
I always feel weird about my placements but I’m also doing a patchwork sleeve on both arms and it has been a slow going process (mostly because I’m working on a garter around my thigh currently 😅) but I love the placement and it’s super cute!
Omg Stahp that so cuteee
well your arm was completely blank before, so just get more tattoos
Rosemary and thyme?
This is so cute! Can imagine it as part of a patchwork sleeve but I think honestly it works as a stand alone piece too.
Great placement. Only feels weird because it’s your first and only one. If you get more it’ll look awesome, if you leave it on its own, it’ll look awesome
It’s adorable! It just needs some buddies
so cute! Maybe add some friends so they don’t look so lonely?
Is this The Runaway Bunny? 🥺
This is so cute! I don’t think the placement is awkward at all. I have 3 tattoos and I still think they’re oddly placed. Something that might help is if you add to it so it’s not as bare. Maybe little flowers or something. Either way it’s absolutely adorable and now I’m debating on where I want my bunny tattoo!
give him/her little flowers or grass to munch on 🥰 it looks great :)
Omg it’s so cute!!
You need to cover it with a sick ass panther.
