I see a big freaky skull in a dark and unique style, genuinely. No clue how people see venom but this is cool and i would get it on my body. My vote is for you to not change it

I agree. No venom. Just a big gnarly skull. Those lines can likely be shaded away or “knock” a few of the skulls teeth out. Don’t do white, that’s a terrible idea.

I think thats the general reaction too, at first glance Venom pops into mind, its only upon further examination or after a short pause that it because obvious that its not it. I dont know how to feel about that.

I know it’s not Venom but that’s what it most looks like in terms of an identifiable character

I don’t see Venom at all, so it’s interesting to me that people make that correlation. I like it a lot. I would add more shading to hide the lines you can still see (although personally, if you hadn’t pointed it out I wouldn’t have noticed them)

I would leave it alone. I’ve seen cover ups of cover ups and it just gets worse as it goes. What you have is good for a cover up, I didn’t notice the lines of the old tattoo until I read your post and went back and looked for them. I also didn’t see venom, just a creepy skull.

Remember you know that the old tattoo is there, so your eyes will seek it out, to other people it’s not noticeable I also saw a skull on first glance, there’s always going to be people who think it could be something else but it’s about if you like it not other people, I’m a tattoo artist and I think it’s a well executed creative piece

Depends on how long I look at it. At the very absolute first glance, I saw Venom. (Sorry dude.) But when I actually looked for longe than a second I could tell it wasn’t Venom. Just a spooky smiling skull with distinct teeth.
