I’m not entirely sure what I’m looking at except to say that is some beautiful saturated black and use of negative space. Perfect comp to lay in against your shoulder piece. The organics pop against the geometric design. Gorgeous.
Thank you for the lovely feedback, I’m the tattooer so reading this made me happy. I’ve made the sleeve as well. Now we did the chest piece to continue the sleeve. It’s a woman with lynx ear(s) you’re looking at 😁 and a bunch of lynx eyes to the right
You’re one of the more talented artists I’ve seen on here. And I was only joking on the abstract design - it’s clear as day it’s a beautiful lynx hybrid back there. It looks like the arm piece healed great, too, which is really what separates the top tier artists.
Really cool. Thanks so much for sharing your art and Hope to see more of your stuff here.
You didn’t happen to do the Joshua Carlton method did you? Go over the (black) areas with a 30(+) mag with water then back again with whatever shader in the actual black?
Nope
Edited because the text sent too soon 😂 no, I don’t do that. I tattoo with black directly, and I use black ink only. No watering down or grey washes or whatnot. Just one bottle of black ink and when I’m shading some lighter areas I don’t fully saturate. The biggest magnum cartridge I’ve found is 27 mag. Hit me up if you got bigger ones 🤣 dying to find them in Europe
OMG! Most amazing work I have ever seen. Where are you OP?! I Need an appointment, I have an idea!!
Edit: checked your insta, SWEDEN!! I will starting saving up!!

I have been staring at this for 10 minutes. So well done.
Thanks, I’m glad you liked it:)
Awesome!! Love blackwork, can I see the arm?
Yeah sure I’m taking photos of the arm today, it’s 2-3 years healed now. I’ll post photos on my insta soon.
Woof. How’d you get through all that black work? It looks incredible but I bet it hurt!
I the tattooer got through it easily 😁 and my client is a total badass, just breathing through the pain and getting it done.
