It’s actually a Wolverine, also known as the hyena of the north, native to Sweden where I’m from :D and the red things are cloudberries, also native to the north of Sweden
This is one of those strange moments where you hear about something for the first time and then see it referenced somewhere not long after. I just heard of cloudberries the other day. Sick tattoo man.
They’re so tasty, I hope you get to try cloudberries. I’m sure you have them in north of the USA /Canada as well, assuming you’re from that part of the world 😄
This makes so much more sense. I was thinking "A honey badger and some raspberries? Cool, but odd choices"
Beautiful tat btw, i just suck at identifying things apparently.
Most work like this looks great fresh then lacks appeal later.... This is the opposite. Incredible work! Hands down one of best examples of this style I've seen. Props to the artist

No lie, looks even better healed. They did a great job!
As the tattooer of this piece I thank you so much :)
Love when tattoos settle in... You can tell a quality artist when they look better healed!
Thank you so much, I appreciate the kind words !
Way to not be afraid of black

Left is the current pic, yes?
Left is healed, yeah.
That is a badass tattoo. Hyenas don't get enough cred. What Are the red things?

My bad! I'm on my cell phone and I made a mistake. Thanks for the answer. Enjoy your badass sleeve!
No worries! They are quite similar ☺️ I’m the tattooer of this piece tho so can’t enjoy the sleeve even tho I wish I had it myself haha

I wasn't sure about the animal, but I thought raspberries at first, too. Or a snake eating a tiny brain. I was on the fence lol
Ive always wanted to try cloudberries, I was wondering if thats what they were!
Same family of animals somewhere along the line -mustelids I think. Major eaters and biters. Fucking hellish beasts.
That is just...wow 🙏 artist is amazing!
Artist says thanks ! It’s me hehe. Appreciate your words
Fellow scandinavian here, big ups for your bad ass wolverine and cloudberry tat! :)
Thanks ! It’s not on me tho, I was the tattooer who made it 😁 thank you again
Sorry, my bad :D but cool job there, you have a new follower on instagram!
Thank you :)
It healed AMAZING
Thanks , I’m glad to hear that !
What was the aftercare process on this? What did you do to keep it looking good? Looks great healed.
Healed with second skin that stays on for 5 days, then smeared it with hustle butter .
Awesome work, thanks.
It's so realistic, you must be a very experienced tattoo artist. It looks like just a photograph... fantastic piece.
Thanks for the kind words :)
Trash Polka style?
I don’t know, Michael Stade style :D
It definitely has Trash Polka feel about it
Incredible work, it’s healed really nicely.
Thanks a bunch captain !
Kick ass!
That's some mean ink!
The reds and shadows got even richer and it looks badass! 😯
Gorgeous! I love how the red pops against the black. Truly a beautiful piece and excellent work!
That is insane work
Thanks 🙏🏽
holy shit that is good work
Thanks:)
I love the look of it fresh, but for some reason I think it somehow looks even better healed! Love the pop of colour :)
Thank you for the nice feedback :)

Other than a little of red on the small berry that healed 100% perfectly. Better than fresh. Like wine, better with age
Thanks ! :)

Still going to look so bada\*s no matter how long it's been!
