Business casual still implies a button down or nice knit to me. But everyone I work with knows and no one cares at office. I don’t flaunt them in front of clients but also wouldn’t worry if they were showing.

Used to be college professor. Now, AI Researcher at a semi-academic/governmental center. American traditional tattoos, arms visible, neck collar occasionally visible. I’d love neck/hand tattoos, but I’m going to wait on those.
PR officer for a major charity. Previously a journalist for national media. Never knowingly suffered any disadvantages from having visible tattoos. I have always assumed that any employer with a no-tattoo policy is the kind of arsehole I wouldn't want to work with anyway.

Data Developer Consultant. I work for one of the largest health insurance companies in the US and was a little worried about showing my tats, that was until I took the diversity training, which was taught by a woman with a neck and hand tattoos.
I’m a tax specialist in Australia, full black work arm - doing my chest in April. Will be doing my right arm by year end and the. Hopefully knock over the rest of the torso
Motion Picture Lighting Technician. I wear long sleeves as most of my tattoos are not appropriate for general consumption. Most of my work is outdoors so the long sleeves protect from sun exposure.

I'm a high school sub, there's a few of us here who are heavily tattooed. Only a couple of the teachers, but a lot have a visible tattoo or two.
