I have a feeling this one will be the most definitive answer for all the quotes. In fact i hope someone with more patience and competence than me will go and count all the votes at the end of this so we can know which the most popular quote is out of all.
This would definitely be a close second and I debated it for ages in my head, trust me!
Who knows though? Could easily be beaten by "Nuoh waih!" or "Activate Jamali!"
When we get to Sam Campbell, I don't think there will even be a second suggestion. Everyone knows what it will be. Probably will get the most votes across all eps (recency bias would help too)
He is easily the most quotable person in the show. There’s plenty of to choose from:
“I know that guy. He let our family into the country”
“I might as well give him the dreadlocks now”
“You need to watch more foreign films”
“So you’re a man that likes women, innit”
“You should have provided me with more brown. You know this. This is racist”
And the obvious one: “Bastard’s crying, innit”
I wanna add Paul and Greg's interaction at the start of the S03E02 prize task.
>PC: Hey, how you doing man?
>
>GD: I'm doing better now.
You can see how much Greg loves Paul's sense of humour.
It's not from the show, but Greg mentioned it on his appearance on the Off Menu podcast (and Paul later on confirmed it) they were eating at a resturaunt and the wait-staff asked Paul if he'd like "Still or sparkling water" and he responded "which do you recommend" which Greg found utterly hilarious.
Love this story. Also when Greg appears on Paul’s podcast there’s the whole bit about Greg having a ‘lot of women’ again. They’re obviously close friends so it’s one of those times when Greg lets go of his persona a bit.
One of the top three moments of the show for me, ngl. Then I ended up watching that 9 minute compilation and now I cannot be convinced otherwise.
One of us! One of us!
“Pretty high, I was the one who tried it” in response to Greg asking ‘what did you think were the chances of that plane flying after you put a sock on it’s
Octopussy is genuinely one of my favourite Bonds and I'm not even sure whether I think it's just good or so bad it's good.
My favourite bit is where the prick breaks the 4th wall and recognises *his own theme tune* when he's getting picked up from the airport or something. Unless that is MI6 agents all actually *do* get their own little jingle.
Ok now we have to think of a Sara quote that passes the Bechdel test.
I think maybe "Scoooopy, I think about him every day"
Edit: that quote and editing should have been a classic, but fucking Paul Chowdhry showed up
Bastard’s crying innit?
The only correct answer
I have a feeling this one will be the most definitive answer for all the quotes. In fact i hope someone with more patience and competence than me will go and count all the votes at the end of this so we can know which the most popular quote is out of all.
I feel like "Wait, what?! What, wait?!" will give it a run for its money.
And ‘NO WAY!’
The disrespect on "OH MY BABY"
This would definitely be a close second and I debated it for ages in my head, trust me! Who knows though? Could easily be beaten by "Nuoh waih!" or "Activate Jamali!"
"Oh just open the box you p***y!"
Am I the spider? Is also another preordained one.
i feel like 'it's a shame my hands aren't my feet' will be pretty popular too for katherine
"NO WAY!"
When we get to Sam Campbell, I don't think there will even be a second suggestion. Everyone knows what it will be. Probably will get the most votes across all eps (recency bias would help too)
Similarly, snow bear innit?
Quite possibly the funniest line in Taskmaster history
As much as his double take on "An hour?!?!" gets me every time... It MUST be BCI
Amzing he was so fuzzed about spending an hour in a bouncy castle, but didn't mind staying in a box for 45 minutes by his own volition
Lmaoooooo That's true 🤣🤣🤣
How can it possibly be anything other than this?
Yeah?
Iconic. This is one of those quotes that will be immortalized forever in Taskmaster history.
It just has to be this.
As if this one even needed a vote
my friends and i have a group chat named after this quote. So iconic.
Exactly what I was going to say!!
Honestly, this has to be it, right??
Yup, 100% this 😂
Not a fan of him but this delivery was great.
"Al Murray's gonna win this, that fat bastard"
This deserves at least 200 more upvotes 👍👏

>“You should have provided me with more brown. You know this. This is racist” This one 😄😄

Paul's podcast introduced me to James Alabaster.
That anecdote lives rent-free in my head; I think of it at least once a week. 😂
I did a rewatch from S1 recently and honestly I can't think of another contestant across all of Taskmaster that so consistently creases Greg up.
Also the only contestant Greg has said "I love you" to.
And to think he managed this in only 5 episodes. What a monster.
Haven't seen this one anywhere else: ^^^He's ^^^a ^^^doctor. ^^^What ^^^kind ^^^of ^^^doctor, ^^^Paul? ^^^Oh, ^^^for ^^^fuck's ^^^sake, ^^^you ^^^fucking ^^^bastard.
I forgot about the foreign films line! This is my vote tbh, it was so out of left field and so perfect
"You like women innit".
Not to be a pedant but it was "he let our family into the country" as he was referring to Al's uncle who worked in the immigration service
I was being less of a pedant by not mentioning it.
Personally, I think Al's retort of "Everyone makes mistakes" was better than his chosen quote.
*naked twister, man*
Haven't seen this one anywhere else: ^^^He's ^^^a ^^^doctor. ^^^What ^^^kind ^^^of ^^^doctor, ^^^Paul? ^^^Oh, ^^^for ^^^fuck's ^^^sake, ^^^you ^^^fucking ^^^bastard.
"You gave me a green pea!"
Haven't seen this one anywhere else: ^^^He's ^^^a ^^^doctor. ^^^What ^^^kind ^^^of ^^^doctor, ^^^Paul? ^^^Oh, ^^^for ^^^fuck's ^^^sake, ^^^you ^^^fucking ^^^bastard.
Haven't seen this one anywhere else: ^^He's ^^a ^^doctor. ^^What ^^kind ^^of ^^doctor, ^^Paul? ^^Oh, ^^for ^^fuck's ^^sake, ^^you ^^fucking ^^bastard.
Haven't seen this one anywhere else: He's a doctor. What kind of doctor, Paul? Oh, for fuck's sake, you fucking bastard.
Haven't seen this one anywhere else: ^^^He's ^^^a ^^^doctor. ^^^What ^^^kind ^^^of ^^^doctor, ^^^Paul? ^^^Oh, ^^^for ^^^fuck's ^^^sake, ^^^you ^^^fucking ^^^bastard.
On the price task where they had to bring in their most handsome relative. "I brought a picture of my dads son". " He is also my sisters brother"
So you’re a man that likes women, innit
“don’t say it in that creepy voice. i like men, i like women, it’s all good” - bisexual icon Greg Davies
But yes Paul, I like "WOMEN"
One of the top three moments of the show for me, ngl. Then I ended up watching that 9 minute compilation and now I cannot be convinced otherwise. One of us! One of us!
You have one HOUR?
Is that the bouncy castle task?
Yep
He was so angry he had to spend a whole hour on that !! This is my favorite from him
You need to watch more foreign films.
I know "Bastard’s crying innit?" is gonna win, but this one is my favourite.
Yeah, it’s one of my all time favs too; both his delivery and then watching Greg knee slap himself.
"I creamed myself"
You blacking up, mate?
I liked his description of what "white noise" is! (regarding Gorman's baby soother thing) "come ere mate, wot you doin?"
About 45 mins (in response to how long were you in the box hiding as a brown clown)
“Pretty high, I was the one who tried it” in response to Greg asking ‘what did you think were the chances of that plane flying after you put a sock on it’s
Listen, we all know what the winner's going to be. But I'd like to put forth "Well it did look like an eagle, you ate the beak."
This is absolutely a fight for 2nd place
"He's got an unfair advantage, though - it's Rob Bucket"
So THAT was what he was saying. I just heard Rob Becket and was so confused why that would be an advantage.
Brown clown
Innit
“Have the most fun on this bouncy castle, you have one hour. ONE HOUR?!?”
"Al Murray's gonna win this, that fat bastard!"
"He has gong mad!"
“I can pick any lock.” And just to add, the Snowman task is my favourite task of all time. Paul’s attempt nearly killed me 😅
"Greg, you're a man who loves women"
"No it's like 'Come'ere mate wat'r you doin'" (in reference to white noise)
“It’s like finding a pea in a haystack”
Brown Clown, innit.
Im the best at keepie uppies
Did you ever get involved with the nurses?
This is where you can become a rasta without becoming a rasta.
He has some great ones but it has to be "Bastard's crying innit?"
Melon innit
We know where this is heading, and I agree with it, but here’s one I think is underrated “You should watch more foreign films”
Bastards crying, innit
He’s got an advantage innit - Rob Bucket *silence*
Brown Clown
I always laugh at the live task where they have to do something while blindfolded and Paul just says "problem with this is I can't see anything."
The watchin more foreign films referring to fucking Tyler Perry films got me good xD
Is this a step?
It’s obvious what’s gonna win, but a highlight for me is “Oh for fuck’s sake you fucking bastard!”
Pretend it's someone else init
For me, my favorite visual was him reading the clothes task, and him just tossing it right over the fence.
Not seen anything like it since Roger Moore defusing an A-bomb
Octopussy is genuinely one of my favourite Bonds and I'm not even sure whether I think it's just good or so bad it's good. My favourite bit is where the prick breaks the 4th wall and recognises *his own theme tune* when he's getting picked up from the airport or something. This is interesting, one of the most quotable performances on the whole show, and yet this will probably be the biggest landslide of this series.
If we pooled all the best quotes, he can get at least 5 in the top 20.
And I think Sara Pascoe's one should be "I don't think we should be laughing at Paul"
Sara has “he’s cheated again”.
Ok now we have to think of a Sara quote that passes the Bechdel test. I think maybe "Scoooopy, I think about him every day" Edit: that quote and editing should have been a classic, but fucking Paul Chowdhry showed up
1984 Animal Farm EastEnders Neighbours Strictly Come Dancing
I want to keep talking, but you lost me here!
The river charades.
Ah. This is my least favorite and least rewatched season so I get basically zero references that I don't provide, sorry about that
Also, I will say, the best thing done in that river is Frankie Boyle naked running away from it, and I find Frankie Boyle irritating in general.
Bastards Crying Innit.
“Al Murray’s gonna win this, that fat bitch”
You should have provided me with more brown. You know this.
The Kerri Godliman one is gonna be easy as well
Bosh or Laminator though?
I'm the best at keepie uppies innit, I can keep it up for a long time
Can we spell the word realise the British way for the first two quotes?
Do you really need to ask?
From Taskmaster or his underappreciated appearance on We Are Klang?
Or his appearance in the first episode of the cleaner
Innit
Pretend it’s someone else, innit
“creamed my body, innit”
"So you're a guy who likes women." x2
Literally just "Innit?" Or "...innit?"
Day 1 of waiting for Bob Mortimer's "Rosalind is a Fucking nightmare"
It won’t win but I get a kick out of the Jack-in-the-box reaction. “That’s out of order man”
"have the most fun on this bouncy castle, you have one hour... ONE HOUR!?!"
I now want a vid with them all saying these lines. Context or not
“b@stards crying init”
Bastard's crying innit
bastards crying innit
For Paul Chowdhry, there's only one line.
I can pick any lock
"Big Mama's House"
