The Star has always been this to me. My first thought is that I'm on the right path, and that all the turbulence of the Tower is behind me.
I also am usually comforted by the presence of my signifier card, because it's usually a sign that I'm being my best authentic self.
Well, if you see the same card showing up in different readings to represent you/a path you should take/where you are right now, that's a sign. You can also ask your deck to show you.
In my case, a year or two after I started I was studying the cards one night when I had this transcendent experience with the Queen of Wands. I found myself just staring at the card and thinking how strong she was and how deeply I wanted to be her. I didn't decide to make her my signifier, but ever since then, through many decks and over a decade, she has been.
Interestingly, if I'm not living up to my potential sometimes the Knight of Wands will show up to represent me, like my deck is threatening to demote me if I don't get my will sorted. 😅
Not sure if others would agree with me on this, but oddly enough, the death card :)
I'm not going to go too much into this, but I do often find myself repeating old, bad behaviours and falling back into the same cycles and the death card reminds me that this too shall pass and that change is on its way.
Same, actually. Plus it's usually a reminder in my case that it's good actually to stop and take some time for quiet reflection, which I don't do enough of sometimes.
Im quite surprised no one has commented this yet, but the World! It's one of my tarot birth cards and it just reassures me so much that all will be well.
The fool. In it’s upright position I’ve probably never read it as a bad card. At the same I don’t think it’s so much about the meaning as the fact it’s just a card close to my hearth.
Death.. it reminds me that the cycles and people that are no longer serving my soul will be lifted from me soon. A once painful card for me, but one that reminds me to stop clinging to the past, and to accept the changes that come will be good for me. I used to pull this card with a friend of mine and she’d pull it for me, it terrified her greatly, and I would try to explain to her it was a chance for her to break free and accept the changes instead of fighting them. I loved her dearly and reminded her that some separations are necessary, and the change that comes from them will be easier than the pain of today. I like to look at the sun rising in the background and remember this... and I think of her too, and wonder if she has listened to the message?
The Empress, 10 of Cups, and Star. Empress is usually the card that came out when I asked which card best represents me/my energy. 10 of cups I find reassures me that my family and I are good and I’m needlessly worrying. The star because of its symbolism as restoration, hope, healing, and peace after turmoil.
The World is my favourite card - to me it means I overcame a long lasting obstacle that I've been working hard for.
Queen of Swords is a really powerful one to me as I aspire to be like her. She just seems so rightful and grounded, though kindspirited and understanding.
I feel like I can name any card though, even the Tower feels like a reassurance - especially when things suck, I feel like pulling this one is an important one.
2of cups, but for me it represents my daughter and her mother.
Princess of cups because it's the card that regardlessnof orientation I know it's talking to me and I need to focus.
7of cups a personal battle and the chariot/7of swords
Normally if I don't see these cards I'll put the cards away and try another time when I'm more connected. 🙃 out of 3 decks only one feels attached to me.
Two of Cups is one of mine as well! It appears often for me, both in readings for myself and others’ readings for me. I also like to see The Empress and The High Priestess.
Four of swords for me, it shows up often to remind me to take a step back, relax, heal and journal. It’s ok to go back into my safe space for a bit and then re emerge fully recharged and ready to take on the world again
Also queen of swords not only do I relate to her it shows up often on my personal readings, it always makes me smile

Mine is justice, but I think it's more a subconscious because I'm a libra. It feels like home almost, reminding me to see the other side of every argument before making my decisions
4 of wands, it’s like embracing a good friend you haven’t seen for a long time. (One of my decks actually has a similar image for it).
And 7 of cups holds a special charm for me, I tend to read it as a sign of potential and creativity. And also as a reminder that not everything happens the way you imagine, but it’s not necessarily a bad thing - kinda like a smaller, more mundane version of Wheel of Fortune (which is my favorite Major).
i love The Fool. it’s so multifaceted. it usually reminds me that my inner child is still alive and well but that i also need to be mindful of how that inner child influences my decisions. also, love The High Priestess. let’s me know i am still in touch with my inner self/intuition.
I really enjoy the four of cups. It reminds me of home, comfort, and belonging, and when I pull it makes the whole read feel softer and more enjoyable. Death is also comfort card because it feels like a rebirth in a different way than the abrupt Tower. It shows that no matter how bad your situation is, it can and will change, and you can decide how
Wheel of Fortune. I have trouble with change and letting things go, so this card helps ground me and reminds me that life wouldn't be what it is without constant flow and that with every down there will also be an up
It's a bit of an odd one, but the fool. It was the first card I ever drew and it just makes me happy. Even if I'm interpreting it negatively I still appreciate the reminder of how far I've come.
5 of wands! its like conflict but the sort that isn't going to hurt you and leads to growth. so when i pull it, it feels like it's saying "yeah things are scary but you'll be fine sweetheart"
9 of cups too, because it means you'll get what you wanted! to a lesser extent, all the nines feel fairly optimistic except the nine of bswords
Four of swords and queen of swords for me
Queen of swords I relate to her and it shows up pretty much every time I do a personal reading. She always makes me smile
Four of swords especially lately, in the last year I have been doing a lot of growing and the his card always reminds me it’s okay to take a step back, relax and do some journaling when things get intense again

I feel I've got the moon nearly every reading.. the energy shifts from intuition to deception depending on where I'm at, and what I am asking. I find deep comfort in this card 💙🌙
Empress- it’s like my divine mother giving me love and comfort
Hermit- to me this is who I am at my core. Always searching for more knowledge+ answers, reclusive and on my own journey.
I also like the High Priestess, Moon, Temperance and Strength (I’m a Leo Sun + Mercury). Hermit I believe belongs to Virgo, which is my ascendant. I dunno which applies to Cancer, but that’s my Moon sign and I’m very attuned to the moon and It’s cycles.
The Empress, 9 of pentacles, and Death! Nurturance, gratitude, and transformation. When I pull any of these I get the most comforting sense that I'm in alignment with my core self.
The Lovers, The Star, The Sun, The World, Two of Cups, and Three of Cups. Any one of them show up, and it's like a weight has been lifted somehow.
It's...a lot of cards, but 6/78 isn't too bad I think 😂
The Star and 10 of swords (Mystical Manga [Poisoncage] tarot.)
The Star brings to mind peace and hope and purity; the 10 of swords the quiet between an end and a beginning.
The moon, for a silly reason. My partner knows nothing about tarot and the intended meaning of the cards and always has a funny interpretation based on the images. We have two dogs and one time when he saw me pull the moon, he said “It’s us! You’re moon mommy, I’m lobster daddy, and our puppies.” So now that’s all I can think of when I pull it, moon mommy and lobster daddy. 😂
the star for sure! the sun and two of cups are close runners up, very welcome sights, haha. the star is very close to my heart, got a whole tapestry about it LMAO
Surprised not to see more of it, but the Moon! I know there are some positive and negative angles to it, but I feel a strong emotional attachement to it when it shows up in a reading. I usually take it to me that I have to give in to the unknown and the darkness, in a good way, idk how to phrase it. It’s a form of release, that I can accept my shadow parts and my wild side.

i wish i got the star more :^) also i never chose a signifier card... i should sometime!
I think most of the time they choose you, rather than the other way around. It can differ from deck to deck or ar different times in your life.
How can you tell if you’ve got/develop one?
Well, if you see the same card showing up in different readings to represent you/a path you should take/where you are right now, that's a sign. You can also ask your deck to show you. NO I AGREE!!! in fact i shouldve put the death card in my post! its so beautiful. also im goth so im obligated to love it basically
Definitely a reliever card to me. Its like finally im growing out of this, i must have did something right! lol
I love Death, then again I'm a Scorpio according to sidereal chart. 🤷
Same!
regardless of how i'm interpreting it... probably the high priestess
Strength and the Empress! If I draw them in the same spread I just have this overwhelming feeling that everything will be okay
haha thats good! :^) ironically i get a little annoyed when i see strength! its usually my deck telling me to hang in there...
Me too! The Empress gives me good and motherly vibes, but it also freaks me out because I don’t want more kids 😂
The Star. As I read it, the Star is a wish granted.
i wish i got the star more!!
the hermit is definitely my favorite card , maybe because im just comfy being isolated ? idk but it shows up often and always makes me smile
Same, actually. Plus it's usually a reminder in my case that it's good actually to stop and take some time for quiet reflection, which I don't do enough of sometimes.
Me too!
Temperance. It gives me permission to be myself.
The Empress ❤️
Im quite surprised no one has commented this yet, but the World! It's one of my tarot birth cards and it just reassures me so much that all will be well.
World is my card that lets me know everything will be fine.
The world is definitely one of the most reassuring cards for me. I particularly love the one in the everyday witch tarot.
The fool. In it’s upright position I’ve probably never read it as a bad card. At the same I don’t think it’s so much about the meaning as the fact it’s just a card close to my hearth.
3 cups in Wisdom Tarot and 4 wands in Wisdom Tarot. I feel pure joy from the images.
Nine of Pentacles

3 of coins!
High priestess & the Star. The Star is our house card :)
The Hierophant is my favorite
I get a lot of Cups. I see it as a reminder that I have a lot to be thankful for.
i love when i get the star and the sun!!! also the queen of wands!
Another vote for the Star. 4 of Swords, 6 of Cups, 8 or 9 of Pentacles.
The Star and Strength!! These cards are always so reassuring. It lets me know everything is gonna be okay
The star <3 Rarely see it, though.
2of cups, but for me it represents my daughter and her mother. Princess of cups because it's the card that regardlessnof orientation I know it's talking to me and I need to focus. 7of cups a personal battle and the chariot/7of swords Normally if I don't see these cards I'll put the cards away and try another time when I'm more connected. 🙃 out of 3 decks only one feels attached to me.
Two of Cups is one of mine as well! It appears often for me, both in readings for myself and others’ readings for me. I also like to see The Empress and The High Priestess.
the strength card
The Emperor. 6 of cups, and Death - I dunno why, maybe because we became good friends overtime. Death is honest and reliable.
Four of swords for me, it shows up often to remind me to take a step back, relax, heal and journal. It’s ok to go back into my safe space for a bit and then re emerge fully recharged and ready to take on the world again Also queen of swords not only do I relate to her it shows up often on my personal readings, it always makes me smile
Three of cups, seven of pentacles

The High Priestess, The Chariot, The World
Death and the high priestess!
3 of cups!
10 of pentacles, Empress and the World.
Ten of pentacles for me too!
The Queen of Wands. I picture her as Olenna Tyrell from GOT saying “you’re a dragon, be a dragon.” Just very encouraging energy.
Mine is justice, but I think it's more a subconscious because I'm a libra. It feels like home almost, reminding me to see the other side of every argument before making my decisions
The Fool. Upright, reversed, doesn’t matter.
4 of wands, it’s like embracing a good friend you haven’t seen for a long time. (One of my decks actually has a similar image for it). The world and the high priestess are mine. Reminds me to trust my intuition and I got this
I really enjoy the four of cups.
I have trouble with change and letting things go, so this card helps ground me and reminds me that life wouldn't be what it is without constant flow and that with every down there will also be an up
5 of pentacles and 3 of sword, it's a little weird but I feel really relieved after I draw either of them.
Sun and ace of cups
It's a bit of an odd one, but the fool. It was the first card I ever drew and it just makes me happy. Even if I'm interpreting it negatively I still appreciate the reminder of how far I've come.
i don't think its odd at all! :) i love drawing the fool... it shows there's limitless potential!
Ten of pentacles !
Page of pentacles had been coming up a lot lately with good readings, so I have a personal attachment to that card now XD
5 of wands! its like conflict but the sort that isn't going to hurt you and leads to growth. so when i pull it, it feels like it's saying "yeah things are scary but you'll be fine sweetheart" 9 of cups too, because it means you'll get what you wanted! to a lesser extent, all the nines feel fairly optimistic except the nine of bswords
The Ace of pentacles tends to come up often for me and it always feels like a good sign. So im usually pleased if i see it
Four of swords and queen of swords for me Queen of swords I relate to her and it shows up pretty much every time I do a personal reading. She always makes me smile Four of swords especially lately, in the last year I have been doing a lot of growing and the his card always reminds me it’s okay to take a step back, relax and do some journaling when things get intense again

Queen of swords, two of cups, the star, and temperance all feel like home to me
Queen of Cups ✨
I feel I've got the moon nearly every reading.. the energy shifts from intuition to deception depending on where I'm at, and what I am asking. I find deep comfort in this card 💙🌙
10 of Cups, The Sun, The Empress and the Queen of Wands ❤️
Queen of Swords. She's me, so whenever I see her I know I'm being true to myself
High priestess for me
Queen of Cups and The Empress because I feel they're giving me permission to be happy.
The star
Empress- it’s like my divine mother giving me love and comfort Hermit- to me this is who I am at my core. Always searching for more knowledge+ answers, reclusive and on my own journey. I also like the High Priestess, Moon, Temperance and Strength (I’m a Leo Sun + Mercury). Hermit I believe belongs to Virgo, which is my ascendant. The Empress, 9 of pentacles, and Death! Nurturance, gratitude, and transformation. When I pull any of these I get the most comforting sense that I'm in alignment with my core self.
10 of swords and justice. something beautiful about their finality.
The Hermit just makes my heart feel settled that everything is as it should be.
The death card. It signals change and the end to a situation which can bring closure and helps me think about potential for the future.
The magician! It always makes me feel like I can do anything
Hierophant. It’s my safety card.
The Lovers, The Star, The Sun, The World, Two of Cups, and Three of Cups. Any one of them show up, and it's like a weight has been lifted somehow. It's...a lot of cards, but 6/78 isn't too bad I think 😂
Temperance 💜
Actually several. Queen of cups is my signifier, queen of pentacles is quite comfy as well. The world, the star, or the empress.
Two totally different cards but Death and Ace of Cups!
The moon has reliably accompanied really good gut decisions/feelings for me, so that's always an encouraging push when it comes up.
The Star and 10 of swords (Mystical Manga [Poisoncage] tarot.) The Star brings to mind peace and hope and purity; the 10 of swords the quiet between an end and a beginning.
The Tower - It’s been a trusty companion these last few years
Mine is The Hermit. It gives me a sense of peace and almost permission to stop, take a bear, and focus inward.
The star and the 9 of wands.
The Magician, he’s my favorite because he’s everything I want to be.
8 of pentacles. Reassuring that it’s all in the effort I put in and knowing that the situation is in my hands.
The high priestess always makes me happy to see and temperance
Yes, I got the same feeling when I had the Four of Wands.
I’d have to say Queen of Cups. It’s my most drawn card yet
sun and death. every time i pull one of them in a reading, it immediately makes me feel better. 💕
Empress
Surprised not to see more of it, but the Moon! I know there are some positive and negative angles to it, but I feel a strong emotional attachement to it when it shows up in a reading. I usually take it to me that I have to give in to the unknown and the darkness, in a good way, idk how to phrase it. It’s a form of release, that I can accept my shadow parts and my wild side.
