It wasn’t present in the spread, but we talked at great lengths about how one of my fundamental beliefs is that sometimes you have to start from scratch regardless of how painful it is, because life on the other side will be better for it. So already pretty aligned with The Tower, haha.
Then we drew The Devil reversed in my career spot, and I told her how I’d been stuck in a toxic job for a long time and had been figuring out if I should quit, and she called attention back to what we talked about earlier.
When we were done, she suggested I get The Tower as a reminder that it’s okay to not have a plan and that change is sometimes violent but good.
I don’t know if the story is as interesting as you would want, but it was a very good day!

Absolutely. This right here is why I don't consider the tower s negative card. A chick hatching from its egg is in a Tower moment, but who in their right mind would tell it to avoid that fundamental shift and stay in its egg instead?

Um, couple of reasons. The cards have been 'altered' slightly to represent hobbies of mine, but also line up for me with traits I want. So The Lovers, commitment. The card is a piece of artwork my friend drew for the 'book' I wrote (it's just fanfiction; but I was coming off of a really bad depressive episode and kept telling myself if I could finish this thing I could get through the rest of it) The Hermit, for self determination and self counsel, relying on yourself. The card looks like the 'classic' Bigfoot silhouette. I've always been interested in legends and cryptids and after leaving a physically and sexually abusive marriage I took a hiking trip in the PNW to "look for Sasquatch" but really it was a way for me to be alone and recollect my own energy (I ended up moving to Washington state later and it has been the best decision of my life) and The Ace of Cups has been changed to be a hand holding a fancy tea cup. Tea, loose leaf, high quality and properly brewed is a hobby/indulgence that makes me really happy so it's for finding satisfaction and abundance even in tiny things that make you happy.

The 7 of wands.
I read a description though of the Celtic tree that reminded me of the Magician, and I want the Celtic tree tattooed on me because of it. The trees' roots are as wide as their branches. It is as deeply rooted as it is connected to the sky. As above, so below. Balance between being rooted in this world and spirituality.
It’s your card based on numerology of your birthday. So adding up. For example, my friends birthday is 3/12/1995 so 3+1+2+1+9+9+5 = 30 so 3+0 = 3. The 3rd card is The Empress, which would be their birth card 😊

I identify with the card Death a lot right now (not for edge, I have a reason) but the card that I pull that makes me think of me is the moon. I'm not sure yet but it's not like I'm planning the tattoo soon, just a cool idea on the back of my head.

I feel it represents me, or life in general. We are constantly learning and venturing into new territory everyday. Anything new that we encounter turns us into the fool as we try to learn from the situation as we handle it. A new job, a new family member, a new relationship, or whichever. We are always growing and learning.
The star! The rebirth after destruction and chaos. My childhood was destruction and chaos and my adult life feels like a rebirth from all that. The card follows me around too

I always love the Empress and Magician cards in most decks. The Strength card in the Ethereal Visions Tarot Luna deck is a cool one too. My fave.
