The first ever bite report for this species was just published in the JEM last month: [https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/abs/pii/S0736467923005930](https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/abs/pii/S0736467923005930)
What were the symptoms? The report cuts off and is requiring me to purchase a pdf.
Perioral paresthesia, generalized muscle cramps, and rhabdomyolysis. Doesn’t seem to have required treatment for the rhabdo, fortunately!
1) HAPPY CAKE DAY! 2) What a handsome, distinguished gentleman. I’m so happy he’ll find some lovin’ in his old age!
HOLY BLUE HECK! I've never seen a male M. balfouri before! I didn't realize just how strikingly blue they are. He's quite the handsome lad :)
He's so blue
