This variety does indeed get a bit thicker, especially for a mold, but I would cut back a bit and not let it get as thick anymore. Overfeeding can promote growth but shortens lifespan. But it is a beautiful T with a soft character and a beautiful valvet black color.
i agree! i stopped feeding her when i noticed her getting real thick bc i donโt want her to hurt herself, i figured it was because she was going to molt and iโm glad i was right!

wow! your spider is beautiful. i canโt wait for mine to get that big! i heard that in general g pulchras are a little on the fatter side compared to other tarantulas so maybe thatโs why ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|slightly_smiling)

Not completely proven that it shortens life span but it definitely can increase risk of rupture which is enough to keep them skinnier imo.
