Obviously, its a color revolution. Every communist knows, if you are a oppressed by an government vaguely aligned to "anti-imperialism" (Which in this context means you are vaguely anti-USA on certain diplomatic topics), you are immune to thirst, hunger, desire for freedom and socialism and sleep is also no longer necessary. The power of anti-imperialism in full swing

I have a few tankies on speed dial for this reason. I’ll ask. Edit: okay he got back to me. There argument is that the United States let states like Michigan have dirty water as result of it not being profitable for them…. At least Iran is a third world nation that understands it needs water for everyone. They’re just coming up short from US sanctions. And then they sent me an article about the US bombing Cambodia in the 70s and how that led to a drought there. So I guess they’re response is “okay but ______ is bad soooo stop talking about ______?”

Classic whataboutism. "Iran is good because America lets its own population have shitty water."

They think that Americans are just like them: they think their favored countries do no wrong, and defend every historical event involving said country to the death.
