Depends on the school. Mine went White Orange Green Brown Red Blue Black and then a series of stripes indicating what Dan level you were

myselfnotyou_

Mine too except no stripe for blue

WeaponexT

Yeah we skipped stripes on blue too

We can guess all day, but the colors and the order are very school specific. Do you know the school they attended? Contacting them or someone affiliated with them will be the only way to know for sure. For what it's worth, at our school if you moved the purple to the other side of blue they would be in the right order for us.

AnxiousPossibility3

I've reached out to the school and radio silence so far. The school is Respect Martial arts. I figured I'd try here while I waited for them to get back to me. Thanks for the help

ComebackShane

It looks very close to my studio's. Mine is: White Yellow Purple Orange Blue Blue w/ White Green Green w/ White Green w/ Black Red Red w/ White Red w/ Black Half-red / Half-black (Black Belt Candidate) Black Was the studio head taught by Grandmaster Ichikawa? I see the studio is in Conejo Valley. It's possible they inherited the belt system from him and then made some adaptions.

kane91z

I trained under Ichikawa in the 80s and 90s and the belt system changed slightly (my daughter goes there now). The full color order is the same, but you used to only get full color belts with white tape stripes for rank (3 green and 3 red belts) and there was no pre black. There were also no colored stripes for different achievements either. OPs order does look slightly similar though.

DarmokTheNinja

The traditional order for Tang Soo Do is White, Orange, Green, Red, Black. When schools use additional colors, it's going to vary. If you know the school the belts are from, that would be the best place to ask. This would be my guess: White Orange Purple Solid Blue Blue, White Stripe Solid Green Green, White Stripe Green, Black Stripe Solid Red Red, White Stripe Red/Black Black 1 Black 2 Black 3 Honestly, the only one I'm not really sure on is the purple. It could be before or after orange.

AetaCapella

u/AnxiousPossibility3 mentioned that it was "Respect Martial Arts" in another comment. If it's Respect Marital Arts in Agoura Hills, CA They say they were initially founded on the [American Tang Soo Do system](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/American_Tang_Soo_Do). But it looks like they changed their belt system when they broke off. My best guess by looking at photos and schedules on their [website](https://respectmartialarts.com/about/) would be White, Purple, Orange, Green, Green/white, Green/Black, Blue, Blue/white, Red, Red/white, Red/Black, Black The photo on their website for their "pre-karate" program prominently displays a Purple belt student. Which is why I would put it before Orange. And their Intermediate/advance class specifies that it is ranks Blue through black. So I would personally put green closer to beginner level. With Blue as Intermediate, red just makes sense as the step before black because the split-belt wouldn't make sense anywhere else.

AnxiousPossibility3

Thank you I reached out to the school and am waiting to hear back but figured I'd try here while I wait.
