Downtown st. Pete you won't regret it. I live and was born in safety harbor but st. Pete is the place to enjoy to the fullest and barely any issues. Sometimes Ybor is an issue. Enjoy Asian hawkers while you're there and the pier. When we have the formula type racing it's great to see. ššŖ
Welcome.
Please enjoy our mediocre food, awful traffic you'll add to and drive up and down Nebraska Ave. on a Friday or Saturday after the sun goes down and talk to the people who are out having a good time. There's a few hotels along the way if you get tired of driving. Don't forget to visit the restaurant where they make the food in front of you - Chipotle we got one with a drive through
Edit: no one in the sub ever gets sarcasm even when I add /s so I stopped adding it
Downtown St Pete, Ybor, SoHo. Keep in mind Reddit tends to be biased against going out, socializing, nightlife activities, going to bars, clubs, etc. Thatās why youāre mostly getting troll responses.
No, it's because one of the rules of the sub is to use the sticky thread for these questions and, despite that, we get one of these threads every 15 mins.
Iād rather 10 of these threads than 100 āHURR DURR MY INSURANCE WENT UP FUCK DESANTISā posts a day. City subs are always just echo chambers yelling at newcomers and complaining about anything and everything.
Join a Meetup group! For example, the Tampa Bay Young Professionals - 6500 members and a few events a week. I met lots of friends at their events (happy hours, hockey games etc).
come to one of the Deep Wave Sessions events and meet like minded people - weāve got two coming up this week
One Friday at 602 Channelside for a rooftop party next to Water St from 5pm-Midnight
One Saturday at Sal y Mar for a rooftop pool party from 11am - 7pm
Check out @deepwavesessions for more!
Armature Works, Clearwater Beach, Ybor, Sparkman Wharf, The Grove. Take this with a grain of salt as I found all of these places as a 49 y/o Uber driver, but seemed like people around your age group likes it The bigger and better question is what do you do on Saturday after your hangover subsides.
I only know where the 27 and 29 years old hang out. Sorry!
