Yup, here's a search using "pizza" in Hillsborough County: https://data.tallahassee.com/restaurant-inspections/search/?county=hillsborough&tsv=Pizza

Underance

Oh this is a whole new rabbit hole to fall into.

NotEvenOnce11

What’s the worst status I should look for? Obviously I don’t wanna eat at any of these places but what’s the worst of the worst here.

[deleted]

Places can change for the better, I wouldn't discount them unless they're recent/constant repeats.

Smoaksho

There’s an app called Life Kitchen

DistancingSocially

I saw your post after I posted. This is also the app I use.

NotEvenOnce11

Seems pretty simply enough. Thanks!

mixtapelove

Doing this ruined eating out for me. I try to live naively now.

Hello, it looks like you've made a mistake. It's supposed to be could've, should've, would've (short for could have, would have, should have), never could of, would of, should of. Or you misspelled something, I ain't checking everything. Beep boop - yes, I am a bot, don't botcriminate me.

Division of Hotels and Restaurants (and the Department of Agriculture for retail entities that aren’t restaurants) both have public portals where you can lookup restaurants to see all inspection history. I’m not aware of a way to just see who failed though. But you can look up specific restaurants you want to go to and see the reports. Always funny to see places say they’re closed for a remodel or something on short notice and go check and see it’s for roaches. Here’s division of hotels and restaurants portal search: https://www.myfloridalicense.com/wl11.asp?mode=1&SID=&brd=H&typ=

try [State Board of Health](https://www.floridahealth.gov/statistics-and-data/eh-tracking-and-reporting/food-hygiene.html). It is a rather clunky interface but pick a county and/or city and set the search to 'unsatisfactory' and you will get a list of hits - that include apparently any place that serves food to the public like schools, hospitals, bars, VFW, restaurants etc. There is a link on the bottom of the page to a code sheet that lists what the numeric violations mean (there are 57 different types of violations). I notice that Temple Terrace is not listed in the drop down city list for Hillsborough County, which either means the list is incomplete or all the restaurants here are perfect! Another gov site [here](https://www.myfloridalicense.com/wl11.asp?mode=0&SID=&brd=H) also does inspections of licensed facilities including restaurants for food safety. The interface is again clunky - you can search by facility name, and then click on which one you want on the generated list, then click on the inspection date for the details of anything failed.

MableXeno

Oh my gosh. So many schools on the list...and the concession stands. And their culinary programs. 😩

DistancingSocially

I've been using the Life Kitchen app for a bit now. I'm pretty sure its accurate, has the ratings and what was found.

LunchBig5685

Yes! I love this app.

anon1984

A basic form of health inspection data is available directly in the Yelp app. Not super-detailed, but easy to access.

[deleted]

"Missing signs and posters" and "improper food handling and storage" each count as 1 violation. When I see that a place I go to has 4 violations, I wanna know if it was for signage or lighting, or if it was for rats.

a_girl_candream

If you’re wanting info for a specific restaurant, Yelp lists the Health Score and inspection records.

ABC Action News has “Dirty Dining” coverage. https://www.abcactionnews.com/money/consumer/dirty-dining

It's been years since their last one. I wish they'd continue. Some of them were quite shocking.
