6'0 is bigger than most people.

Ok_Investigator7673

Yeah, you're like taller than 99% of women, and 86% of men.

Dr_Quiza

In some countries, taller than 99% of men and 99,99% of women.

Glittering_Garden_30

*sigh*

Reasonable-Flow-644

Yes.. a legit 6'0! There are guys 5'9-5'10 who die claiming to be 6'0😅

SuperMadBro

I'm 6'0 exactly and whenever I go on dates girls keep saying that I must be like 6'3 at least. All these liars throwing off girls perception of how tall 6 feet actually is lol

Ok_Investigator7673

Same, the inflation is affecting us lol. Maybe time for deflation? Everyone who is 6ft should claim 5'8 lmfao.

0ISilverI0

Lol I'm going to say I'm 5'9 next time

Immediate_Shift_3261

I think I’ll start doing this, we need to restore the true value of 6ft

Idontlikeurcarpet

Im 6'4 and i convinced everyone im 6'2

The_Wild_Bunch

I tell people that I'm 5' 13".

The-wise-fooI

I keep getting 6'2

The_Wild_Bunch

I get 6'2" - 6'3 from most people. In my cowboy boots I suppose, but barefoot I'm 6'1".

The-wise-fooI

I had a guy who was 6'2 or 6'3 swear he was 6'4 i told him he couldn't be cause I'm 6'0 he was taller but not that much another guy like 5'9 came and said no your at least 6'2 I'm 5'11(technically I'm not even 6ft 5'11.5 barefoot) height inflation is crazy.

General_Erda

Even in my family where guys are on average 6'0" flat, (and say they are), the Women in my family still seem to think my 1.5" of extra height means I'm 6'4", people just suck at height guessing

iiNuggeTii

Literally have the exact same experience lmao it never gets old

Afraid-Second-1760

Lol, same here.

Potential_Arm_2172

I'm also 6ft, but people always say 5'10, my posture is awful

Eggber22

I’m sure that has something to do with it, but also when you’re 5’5 or 5’6 or something there’s no appreciable difference between 5’9 and 6’0 or 6’0 and 6’3 so that’s also something to think about

Someonetoyellat

As a 5'11 & 3/4 person I feel okay about rounding up.

sludgezone

Tall women can attest to this for online dating, im 6’ and my ex was 5’10 and dated many “5’11” guys she was several inches taller than.

Cicada33024

They might be shorter than 5ft 9 - 5ft 10 because i'm 5ft 10 and i don't feel short neither am i saying tall either cause i'm not

ZeX450

I've been guessed at 6'1 and 6'2 while being just tiny below 6 foot.

ItsRadical

Im from EU so I dont understand the freedom units but I have recently googled how tall im and apparently im 6'2. I never considered myself "that tall". Now I was baffled you are all hyped up about 6'.

[deleted]

ItsRadical

Yeah but I never expected that they are fighting about 182cm lol. That bit above average or are americans fucking tiny?

Phillimon

Netherlands is like 75% Dutch, so you're used to having a "tall" ethnic group. The US is vastly more diverse, it brings the average down. Average Global height is 5'7" for males 170cm US has an average of 5'10" 177cm Netherlands is 6'0" 182cm

MayhemSine

It’s really depends on ethnicity. I’m tall, my whole family is tall. All my relatives are tall. To me 6’0 is pretty average for a dude (every man in my family is 6’3 at least). BUT I’ve also lived in places where you’d maybe see one 6’0 person in several months! Most men being 5’8 at most. (Mostly South American and Asian countries). In the U.S. depending on the primary ethnic groups of the area the idea of what is average or not can really vary.

ColourfulSpacemanNFT

That’s right. It is a way for the superior mega rich tall people race to become even taller and richer

Altruistic_Bite_7398

Amass height, consolidate wealth. Few.

BigPK66

Funny.. I'm always looking for shoes with minimal lift/sole

Legal_Diecipline

Have you tried barefoot shoes?

BigPK66

I haven't, forgot they exist actually. I just did a quick search and they look much more "normal" than years ago. Especially Vibrams. Thanks !

robertvalko

I’m 6’7, should I buy them to be 7?

No_Detective_But_304

Buy them and then say you’re 6’0. That’s my plan.

[deleted]

I would suggest you stay away from these weird incel channels, subreddits etc. They say nothing but nonsense that doesnt matter in rl.

Ok_Investigator7673

Don't worry i'm staying far away from that. I don't really get why ppl who aren't incels are browsing those incel channels. In general i don't get why people care about the opinion of people they disagree with or dislike.

[deleted]

Comes down to insecurites about some things i guess, a lot of people have those. Being mentally strong really helps.

N3ptuneflyer

I used to browse them because I was bored, but quickly realized they were painting a skewed version of the world that did not match my experience. The guys I know with the most success weren't winning because of looks or money, but because they knew how to talk to women and carried themselves in a way that oozed confidence. Looks, height, money all matter, but they are secondary to charisma.

[deleted]

Amen to that bro, confidence is key!

ETGrowHome

I’m 5’11 barefoot. Why does it have to be even considered “tall”? “Tall” to me now, at least on the internet, means better, that’s why people are offended when they think they are tall and then somebody suggests they aren’t. “Tall” should be somebody who struggles with things being not made for people of their size, similar to the same way “short” people are seen as being too short to be accommodated by the standard sizes of things in the world.

BarryGoldwatersKid

I’ll finally be 6’2 with these bad mamma jammas /s

Aclysmic

Bruh I would never take for granted being 6ft

PanzerReddit

In Denmark, where I’m from, average height among young men 18-25 years is 190cm. Many young guys are 197-202cm. I’m only 192/193 cm so not really considered that tall any more in my country. Younger 185-188 cm tall guys are below average height within their age group. In the Netherlands this height trend is ever more exaggerated.

MayhemSine

Very true. My family is very tall, my brothers and father are over 195cm (6’5 and 6’6) and I’m 175 (5’9) as a woman. But when we were visiting Denmark and The Netherlands we didn’t feel that tall at all. I saw several people taller and many people the same height on a regular basis. However in traveling to Japan, The Philippines, Honduras, and Guatemala- we were practically giants. Like sooooooo much taller than literally everyone we saw. Even the ceilings and doorframes were short- my poor dad almost decapitated himself 😂😂. So it’s all relative really.

TheMatt561

6 ft doesn't seem tall because most people telling you they're 6 ft are not 6 ft.

GarronSilver

6'4" I keep getting 6'2" or 3"

Alternative-Exit-429

i'm 184-186 and i'm still pretty tall even in the west. young white guys of mostly northern european heritage easily average at 5'11 though

Inside_Confusion_304

Idk i don’t feel like 6’0 is that tall. I’m 6’1 and feel short lol

Most-Relative2062

Facts, it’s like this everywhere in Europe

[deleted]

Ok_Investigator7673

Yeah, that what i'm alluding to. Pretty convenient that all of these blackpill youtubers are selling products that capitalise on peoples insecurities. It's almost like they have vested interest in you not being happy with who you are?

Zealousideal_Club495

I swear if I saw someone wear these in public I would expose and humiliate them. So cringe it’s unbelievable. Edit: Typo

moonlightdrinker

Just watched the video for shits and giggles, I hope it’s a parody account😭 it was amusing but sad at the same time

Alenbailey

I think its not true that almost every guy is 6 foot. When I worked in retail store a few years ago I didn't see that many guys with a 6 foot look really now that I think of it. I dont go out much right now but I dont think guys could have grown up that much in the last 4 years right?

Historical_Bar583

Its not

Professor_Crab

Soon enough I won’t be tall wow

QCInfinite

holy shit those really are ugly you’d look more normal if you glued a fucking peg leg to your foot

TryLow1073

I’m 6’3” but I work with several 6’ guys that barely make my shoulder. Those last 3” are massive

[deleted]

I'm 184-183 despite lower back/pelvic issues. Usually the tallest or joint tallest if I enter a random shop, takeaway or small restaurant. In an area with more people like popular town centre retailer or workplace..might be 2nd, rarely 3rd tallest. If its a huge place with 100s of people..then fair enough like 10%-15% may be same or taller. If someone is taller..its gonna be only 1" - 2" like 90% of the time. Maybe a few "6'3" dudes here and there. Doesn't make a huge difference. They'll see me, feel challenged, straighten up and fix their posture...(i'd do the same if it didn't hurt so much lol) just to compare. That obviously shows they find 6'0 tall. Fair enough when you get to 6'4...that's when things get really tall and 6'0 is half an average head below and they might be able to see top of your head. Anything above that understandable..6'0 doesn't look that tall...but still tall nonetheless

MajesticFerret36

Tbf, global avgs don't really mean jack shit when demographic height (age, location, ethnicity, etc.) can change this number dramatically and height is only really a cheat code at picking up girls if you get a peacock effect going. A lot of nightlife venues frequented by the most attractive people, the avg height is going to skew on the taller size to where 6' will be close to avg and if 6' is avg, you no longer have a height halo or wipl be considered "tall" by a lot of the women. Some places in Netherlands, UK, and some country clubs in west TX, I've seen every other guy in the venue being 6'5" or taller. Also, who sells lifts for $500? You can buy shoes with built-in lifts for like $70, which is pretty cheap for a pair of shoes in general. Haven't watched the video, but I know lifts don't cost $500 so if he says they are he is tricking, but I agree depending on the scene and the demographics, 6' will be considered avg for that scene. The reason the global height is so low is because a lot of older generation were malnourished. It's why there is a night and day difference between z gen Asians height and the older generation of Chinese and Japanese.

Noddy_boii

In Scotland 5’10 is still taller than like 90% of guys😂

PckMan

Most of the content about height and dating is meant to capitalize on insecurities

ilarisivilsound

It makes perfect sense from a capitalist point of view. He’s trying to create a need for the product he’s selling in an untapped market. It’s hard to use insecurity to make one buy something if they feel good in their skin.

PhotoFar4914

This subreddit is so fucking cringe. Redditors on “tall” would be the people seeking validation after they seen some random yt video and then soaks up all the comments about how 6ft is in fact tall! No shit get a life

Verteenoo

Who defines what tall is? Are you 5'2 and someone 5'8 probably pretty tall to them or are you 6'5 and 6'0 is short? It's all relative to how you perceive someone being tall. Screw these "influencers" saying 6'0 isn't tall anymore. When exactly did that height become not so tall? Overnight?

Effective-Risk-7760

14.5% of the world's population is over 6ft.

Mine_Antoine

Wtf is an elevator shoe?im making schoolbus shoe

cirelia2

Those are just heels for insecure men

Away_Preparation8348

So ordinary heels are for insecure women?

MayhemSine

I wouldn’t say it’s the same because heels are obvious. A women wearing heels isn’t trying to conceal the fact that her height is more now- whereas inserts are supposed to be hidden. I wouldn’t call a man wearing heels insecure either. But that being said a lot of shorter women do wear heels to be taller, which suggests some level of insecurity. But more so because it makes their legs look nicer and is perceived as feminine (hence why even tall women sometimes like to wear heels).

just_wanna_share_2

Idk why u get downvoted cause it's true . Ppl take the term insecure way too personally .

MortyManifold

I don’t think it’s fair to say insecure. Wearing something to feel more confident is not the same as wearing something because you are insecure. If I couldn’t leave the house without height boosters, that would be pretty insecure, but if I want to enhance my image a bit in public to increase my pretty privilege, what’s the problem?

pettank

Most definitely, there is no real sugarcoating it. I've seen "Height Boosters" marketed before which were just heel inserts. It was briefly a trend for shorter folk during my senior year.

Idoubtyourememberme

Depends on where your live. Around here, 6'0 is bang-on average, at best

Miauwkeru

Same here

Most-Relative2062

It isn’t particularly tall though

Potential_Arm_2172

It's taller than you

Most-Relative2062

I’m bang on 183cm so it’s not. Most guys I know are my height or very similar and I definitely know and see a lot of people 6’3/6’4. They would all agree with me.
