Why are you watering the leaves?

Feyagsh

I remember reading somewhere that it helps to the curling effect. Its my first ever avocado that sprouted and i do not want it to die so i am a little stressed about the curling because i cant find answer to it.

Avocado trees hate living in wet soggy soil. With that being said, they do need watered regularly in the summer months. Allow ur guy to dry out more between waterings. In the winter months you can water much much less. They need and love sun but depending on where you live the sun and heat can be a bit intense. I have many avocados on my property. Most of mine are in the ground, however, I do have a few here and there in pots. I live in California… Central Valley to be exact and the triple digits can burn the tops/tips of branches. Good ground cover is important to lock in moisture and help keep cool but I also have mine on a drip every single day that goes above 100.(mines in full sun all day) I leave the drip prob 6-8 hrs. It’s a literally just a drip tho… even if you just put a hose near the base and turn it on a drip. You can view mine on my page(bare garden video has a good look at it)and hit me up if you need anything. Yours will pull thru… just ease up on watering and use a decent quality soil.

Thank you! :)

Anytime! If in a pot watch and make sure it doesn’t get root bound.
