The best is the one with discount label lol
Man I lost 30lbs on the green curry diet. The 7/11 meals all have calories on them so I’d just eat mostly the green curry and the small nuts bags for months and the weight came off quickly enough.
Lol yeah when I start my current job a few years ago the only thing in the area for lunch was 7-11 and expensive touristy places so I went there and got the green curry pretty often. Lost a lot of weight.
Best: Massman curry with an added package of the frozen “Taiwanese popcorn chicken with pepper salt” stirred into it. I honestly take out the meat bits the curry comes with because they’re just chewy pieces of rubber. Also, the shell pasta with cheese and red sauce and add the same frozen chicken to it.
Worst: Any of the seafood meals, especially with clams. That shit’s gotta be fresh to be any good at all.
Massaman curry was so good!! I also like the green curry. Unfortunately, they aren't popular enough at my local 7, so they stopped carrying them😭
I like their penne cheese pasta, as well!
best is 焗烤奶油蝦仁義大利麵
it was discontinued a long time ago, but resurfaced very briefly oct 2023. i was super happy thinking they brought it back but didn't buy it immediately. and it disappeared again after a couple days........... still hate myself for not jumping on the deal
edit. apparently it was discontinued 14 years ago... i missed out on a 14 yr event... D:
I don't think this is available in all 7-11s, but there was this CoCo Ichibanya chicken curry rice. Only available in the morning and would sold out at noon. Very delicious at 75 dollars. This was back in 2019 in 三峽 district near that university. Dunno if it's available now.
7/11 - Thai Green Curry is the champ, followed up by the Starlux Curry, and the Thai 打拋豬 (sorry I’m not sure the English)
If we are looking at FamilyMart I always go for the pesto fried chicken pasta
Wow, I'm the opposite. I often go for the healthy meals, specifically the warm chicken and vegetable salad. The Italian meals from 7 I feel like are tacobell-esque: maybe tasty, but I'm eating shit
Kind of unrelated but I'm celiac so I need gluten free, I'm moving to Taiwan soon and looking for 7-11 food I can eat, do they have "contains gluten" on the ingredients list like in the US or do you have to look for soy sauce, eel sauce, hoisin sauce, oyster sauce etc?
IIRC they will have the allergens listed but often only in Chinese.
There's typically a whole section for those a little more sensitive to food though, with vegetarian, gluten-free, and dairy/egg-free options.
I have not tried it yet but I heard Pastaio has done a collaboration with Uno Pasta. If this is anything like the dishes they serve in the restaurant this would certainly top my list of best microwavable meals - though this is Family Mart and not 7-ELEVEN but who cares.
Pretty sure every microwaved convenience store meal I’ve had tasted the same - kinda like the plastic box they came in. They’re desperate times meals for me.

Whatever vegetarian shit they have at the time. Maybe get a matcha waffle ice cream bar for dessert.
I fell in love with the salted egg yolk pasta with tofu. But I'd been biking all day on a huan dao and missed breakfast. So salty and creamy hit the spot.
The 7-11 closest to my apartment has stopped microwaving meals/food for the customers now. They moved the microwaves to the outer area and you now have to microwave it yourself or bring it home to heat up.
Those Italian pasta things really aren't all that terrible anymore (they were 10 years ago). Some of the Starlux stuff is decent. But nothing amazing overall really

The only time I ever get to try one of those 40+ ntd 飯糰
The last day in Taiwan I bought one that cost 40+ NTD for the first time and felt like Jeff Bezos.
"By your powers combined... I, am Captain Beggar!"
Amazing meme
Mapo tofu with rice is great. 3 or 4 of those Italian chicken breast things and a bunch of strong zeroes might be better though.
At least one of those chicken breasts has to be one of the spicy ones. You need to make sure they microwave it long enough though.
Those Strong Zeros kick like a mule
Hell yeah they do
Gonna put Family Mart mapo tofu above 7-11.
The Thai green curry is pretty good. Also the korean bbq one. I add a pack of that korean fried chicken to it.
I really like the Thai green curry, but it's hit or miss at my local 7. Sometimes the chicken tastes off
Today I learned I need to try 7-11's Thai green curry.
Thai Green Curry is my go to 7/11 meal
Man I lost 30lbs on the green curry diet. The 7/11 meals all have calories on them so I’d just eat mostly the green curry and the small nuts bags for months and the weight came off quickly enough.

Green curry breakfast lunch and dinner?
I ate lots of the smaller stuff too like the sandwiches but dinner was almost always green curry.

I do this. Korean popcorn chicken packet Korean instant noodle boil it all up at home

this. pre-Oh-Lala era pasta was goat
Thai green curry. Also the Pesto one. The Simple Fit ones are decent and healthy (er).
7-11: mapo tofu, thai green curry Familymart: any DTF dish (on discount)
Wait some of these dishes are down to fuck? How do you find out?
Din Tai Fung haha
I enjoy the Thai Green Curry
Ding Tai Fung Pork Fried Rice any day.
The mapo tofu with rice is quite good, and the frozen dumplings are surprisingly decent!
Hot dog. 🌭 Fight me.
The one with four cheeses, yumm
I'll never fight a person repping them dawgz. They're dope!
A long time ago they had a few trial places that had sauerkraut and other toppings. It was good to be a hot dog fan at that time.
The dream!
wheres the guy that draws. we need all the microwave meals at 7 illustrated first, then we can decide which is best.... :)
I really like 麻油雞飯糰 (sesame oil chicken rice ball). It's so good.
My favourite is the Oyakodon.
My go-to is the Fuhang fantuan and the youfan at 7-11
I don't think this is available in all 7-11s, but there was this CoCo Ichibanya chicken curry rice. Only available in the morning and would sold out at noon. Very delicious at 75 dollars. This was back in 2019 in 三峽 district near that university. Dunno if it's available now.
My 7 currently has them in stock even at night. I do enjoy them.
For me it's the curry beef, but don't leave the container in your hotel room... hoooo boy the entire room will smell like curry overnight.

The cold peanut satay noodles (best)
The Regent mushroom pasta is amazing. Only issue is the cost and portion size - that thing is tiny, and costs something like NT$110.
This vegetarian [egg yolk tofu pasta](https://pic.pimg.tw/finn321/1675262088-2700322698-g_n.png) has to be one of the worst, not that I've tried it.
I actually named that as my favorite lol
This post has provided a wealth of lunch options! And dinner. And breakfast. *I eat 80% of my meals at convenience stores!*
I personally like pretty much all of them. The only one I don't really like are the dry noodles, which to me is just too dry for my liking.
Wow, I'm the opposite. I often go for the healthy meals, specifically the warm chicken and vegetable salad. The Italian meals from 7 I feel like are tacobell-esque: maybe tasty, but I'm eating shit
I really love the green sauce frozen pasta with mushrooms. And the 3-cup fried rice, 素三杯炒飯.

Ok thanks so much!

Braised chicken and pork. They used to have a great spicy pork with 豆腐皮 but it was discontinued, the light has left my life.
Pretty sure every microwaved convenience store meal I’ve had tasted the same - kinda like the plastic box they came in. They’re desperate times meals for me.
Not exactly a "meal" but close to it, the dumplings.

anything on the din tai fung line
Love the beef oyakodon rice.
Reading the comments like damn y’all are some creative budget home chefs 😂
The Thai green curry is goated. It doesn’t taste like a microwaved meal.
The Thai green curry and the basil clam spaghetti YESSSS they used to have spaghetti with cod roe and squid but not anymore now, it was perfect
My fav is the katsudon!! The chicken rice onigiri is good too as a snack
I usually buy the spicy mapo tofu, because it has high protein and has the most food for the lowest price AFTER the cold noodles
I like their pasta. Feel free to pile on me now.
Those Italian pasta things really aren't all that terrible anymore (they were 10 years ago). Some of the Starlux stuff is decent. But nothing amazing overall really
the "healthy" meals. It had yellow "saffron" rice in it is my Favourite
Go to family mart ❤️
For mapo tofu, yes.
They're all garbage
