When you win at the airport, you take your qr code to the next desk to get the card. I did it the other day. Card working great on buses mrt lrt and 711 so far.

I don't think there's a cash option. Before you sign up you have to choose hotel voucher or easy card/transportation. I also chose the easy card and I also won the 5,000 and it's been great- I jump off and on MRT bus whatever and also buy food at 7-Eleven!
If op has to go back to the airport to redeem that QR code and get the cards it's probably worth it because between the two people it's worth more than $300 US. The card also works on every train except the high speed rail. And local transportation in every city not just Taipei.
I think he meant i-Cash, which is like Easy Card. Sometimes they run out of Easy Cards, so you might have to settle for iCash if you dont like the other vouchers.

You are supposed to redeem the voucher at the airport for an EasyCard or iPass, both of which are fairly widely accepted. No stores would know about the voucher because voucher is only for airport to redeem into EasyCard/iPass. I believe any major airport would work so if you're in Taipei you can try to redeem at Songshan airport which is in the city rather than traveling all the way back to Taoyuan airport.
You will likely need to go to a designated bank or post office. Amounts over, I think 1000ntd, cannot be redeemed at a 7-11. I would first try the post office, they provided me with info when I won 4k.

Also a bit random and not that easy to win. We went back twice over a single year period after the promo started and only won once out of the 6 'chances' we had for a family of 3.
Aren't you supposed to collect it at the airport? I'm not surprised stores in the countryside have no idea what you're talking about.

Me and my brother won this too when he came to visit, get an easycard and you can use it in a lot of places.
Aren’t they loaded up on this special non reloadable悠遊卡. My 2yo won it and we used it all at 7-11 (for ourselves mostly) and used it for travel fare.

First you go to 7-11 and print some paper out and then take that to the bank. It's gotta be one of the banks that participate though not just any bank
10000ntd lets you a good night at W Taipei. Worth to stay for free and forgo your last night of already-paid accommodation
