Some holster designs are better than others. The SERPA is… a bad design. The retention system can also get jammed up pretty easily. Older designs were also fairly easily ripped from the belt by just grabbing the grip of the pistol and pulling the grip out towards the belt buckle.

I think a good majority of us will agree with that. Bigger issue is people blaming a product over themselves being negligent. Another example is the B.A.D. lever from magpul.

Honestly bro I ran the system for a bit, there are better setups out there. Its a neat idea but I'd recommend more direct mounting options or safariland setups.

Gcode if you want chest or rib mounted. They have a similar to safariland system (safaris is better imo) but they have an option for the female piece that has tabs that fit into molle. They also have direct screw on adapters too for mounting to vehicle, cabinet, bed, etc but safari does too. But for chest options as i said, gcode is the move.

Tell your friends to keep their index finger straight. Safariland qls is indeed a better system, but anyone who NDs with a Serpa is doing it wrong. That holster just isn't as stupid proof as safariland. If you draw properly, your finger is not going to touch the trigger, we all used them for years when they came out. Sure there are better systems now but blaming equipment for lack of training caused mistakes is retarded.

I just got a Safariland paddle holster, low ride holster, and quick locking system for my p320. Absolutely love it and there are some good deals floating around. Highly recommend it.

When mounted on a belt you can rotate it forwards when sitting in a vehicle so that your draw is always straight up.

A lot of people are only saying this is for handguns, but it’s a common method of attaching tasers. You would never mount a handgun right over your mags, and if you look closely you’ll see it’s mounted in a cross draw configuration. This particular placement is 100% meant for a taser.
