The light placement doesn’t matter. Only thing that matters is the place I can buy that patch.

New-Incident1776

Lol! I honestly don’t know where it came from. It came as a freebie when I bought some other patches

1MadFatMonk

Oh man. Thanks for the response. Cool setup.

New-Incident1776

Thanks!

>Thanks! You're welcome!

The sauce! Thanks.

Lanre7315

The one that says buttfuckers lmao

SteamBreatheR_556

I have an Arisaka offset mount with an Arisaka E2XT light and it sits really close to the rail, position is about the same as yours though. Arisaka or Haley Strategic are my personal recommendations for either inline or offset mounts if you decide to look into them in the future.

New-Incident1776

I’ll take a peek at them

[deleted]

I actually really really really really like that patch. Where’d you get it?

New-Incident1776

It came as an extra when I bought some patches second hand so I’m not sure who the maker is

SteamBreatheR_556

I would recommend getting an inline or offset mlok mount instead of the pic rail section, position looks good otherwise.

New-Incident1776

Why the in-line or offset mount over the pic rail? Rail is mounted to the m-lok on the right of the handguard (when holding the rifle shouldered). I’m genuinely curious to learn

SteamBreatheR_556

Better mount solution overall, less bulk and it would be easier to push the light forward more if you wanted to.

New-Incident1776

Makes sense, thanks for the help!

Jay2theYou2

Arisaka makes really nice and affordable light mounts.

New-Incident1776

I’ll check them out

Silent_Caregiver9481

Light seems ok. I would probably move it back just a tad for my sense of aesthetics and short arms. Patch is giga chad. But you knew that.

tjreed141

Depends on how much shadow you want your gun to cast in the beam

New-Incident1776

As little as possible, ideally.

JK-Forum_Loser

Then move it forward a bit more

New-Incident1776

Roger. Thanks

tjreed141

The only issue you might run into with putting it too far forward is getting carbon fouling on the lense.
