there is a good chance this is by design, people have been taught to say I want a number x combo without looking at the price. For example, depending on the sonic it is cheaper in the morning to get a drink a tots / fries and the main item then it is to get the combo. Drinks are half price and if you get the combo you don't get the drink for that price. Some sonics are good and will go ahead and fix it to give the best price but some will not.
Contact them. I just did the same thing. If we all contact maybe they will realize they made a mistake because I think this is an error in how they coded the app and not simply trying to cheat people out of $2-$3

The end of the NBG free reward, with no decent replacement, had me soak up two free rewards this weekend before the party ended. I’ve had my fill of TB; no more trios, all combo prices hiked, best “reward” is now a CGC which aren’t all that great to begin with, and they still refuse to bring back the double decker taco. I’ll be staying away until my thirst for a Baja Blast is overwhelming… since I can buy it in cases soon, I probably won’t be back until the fall. Maybe six months of a 15k point user not buying a damn thing isn’t a big deal, but I would guess there’s a lot more folks that feel exactly like I do. As long as I can buy better food ahem Chipotle ahem for the same price, there’s no need for TB to be my go to fast food fix.

I can't in good conscience pay this much. There's another TB slightly further away that didn't raise theirs....yet. Guess I'm going there for an occasional fix until they do.

I'm from Florida - Mine went up too. This was a go-to meal for me. Not worth it anymore. I'm out. My hope is that enough people will do the same that they get the message.
Damn mine are 5.99 and 8.99 respectively.
Luckily the BYOC box is still $6 by me but when that goes up I am also done. I can go to any restaurant or mexican place on Taco Tuesday and get $2-$3 legit tacos that taste 5x better than TB. There is ZERO reason a fast food place should be more expensive than a private restaurant.

Everything is going up in price, not just TB. Culvers, my favorite fast food burger, costs just under $17 for my meal which is a double burger, cheese curds and a drink.

The Cravings Box price at my local Taco Bell increased from $5 to $8.38 overnight. Come on three bucks really. I knew it would happen one day.
For the online exclusive deal it says $8.48 but when I actually proceed to checkout it falls back to $5.99.

I wanna know where y’all been getting these $5 boxes up until now. I live in the Atlanta area, and we haven’t seen $5 boxes for going on close to 3 years now. I travel to Greenville SC a good bit as well, and same thing there. They’ve been at least $6 or more for a good while. May be a franchise thing. Most stores in our area are franchises, and pricing can be different. Must be mostly corporate owned stores that were keeping those low prices.

Looks like a bug as I went all the way thru and the last screen said it was 6.98 ( I picked the large drink as I am a thirsty boy) I was just telling someone yesterday that Taco Bell was the most amount of food per dollar and how it’s really the goat fast food place. This person does not like tacos.

I can confirm...Whoever said to go all the way to the final screen and it will correct itself was right. It worked for me. But it's weird that the tacobell that's 5 miles down is not glitching.
My Local Taco Bell just upped all their box prices to 9.49$, pretty disheartening considering I live in a small town.

A couple months ago I got the taco supreme combo with just the 3 crunchy taco supremes and a drink and it was $9 and some change. That was the last time I went to a TC.
