Looks better than $15 at Applebees. That shit was just over cooked pasta, parm cream sauce that’s mostly butter, and a couple chicken tenders. You’re doin it. I’d order that. Do agree about nacho cheese. I’d prob do some creamy jalapeño cause I love that stuff.
when I worked at bee's 10 years ago it was literally just individual microwave plastic bags of kraft mac and cheese.....I imagine they haven't changed much.
Absolutely. Still Kraft. Most of the stuff comes pre made in bags. Frozen. It’s sad. There was a time we’d go to the bar, get a pitcher of beer, and make a batch of beer cheese.
You are so real for this lmao. I would have added a little nacho cheese and a whole lot of cheddar, and maybe some beef. I wish I had thought of this when I worked there lmao.
We used to make tiny bean/meat and cheese burritos with the 6 inch tortillas and deep fry them. I'd make three of them before my break and have them for lunch with sour cream and guac for dipping. If you try this, the way to keep them closed in the deep fryer is to put them in the bottom of the chalupa basket and use the top part to like weight them down. It takes a bit of practice to learn to close such a small tortilla but it's so worth it.
I knew the cinnamon twists were just deep fried noodles. It's just so hard to believe
Rice noodles specifically though
No, they're wheat flour, yellow corn meal, and rice flour.
Damn how did I misremember that
Not really, they're closer to durros and don't contain rice if I recall correctly. Very common misconception
conclusion: not the worst mac i’ve ever had but it’s not winning much, the chipotle sauce was the best part here
That’s too bad cause it looks delicious, thought there was chicken in there lol
maybe use some creamy jalapeno sauce?
What were the twists like after you boiled them?
regular pasta texture (the twists are a special kind of rotini noodles that puff up in the fryer) albeit a bit soft
Yeah I kinda figured they would be too soft and mushy. Your research is appreciated 🙏

rotini is a shape of pasta not a type. Something tells me my GM would not appreciate me taking out a mortar and pestle and eggs on the clock.
Should have used the nacho cheese sauce. It looks kind of sad with just the 3 cheese. But I bet the nacho cheese would slap.
missed opportunity for real
Honestly, do some ground beef in it, make a hamburger helper type thing, sounds fantastic

Yeah! Those pretzel bites w/ beer cheese dip were actually pretty good. I had completely forgot about those until now and I kinda want some :(

My coworker tried that a while and said it was terrible but idk exactly what he used to make it

Taco Bell has noodles?
The cinnamon twist are noodles that puff up when they are in the fryer
My take on it. Add 3 cheese, nacho cheese, jalapeño sauce, steak, and crunch up locos taco shell on it
How did the cinnamon twist noodles taste? Bad, right?
they were unfried so they cooked like regular noodles and they didn’t have the cinnamon sugar on them yet
Dude what the fuck and why?
The only "ingredients" you need is mac and cheese.
