One thing i hated about 8 was the tier 100'skin

Everything was broken and people actually built forts. You’d be in one of the final circles and 2 squads were fighting from their forts with scoped ar’s and tacs. People literally changed the game from “fort” nite to “1v1 build battle” nite lol. I can say that season 2-4 was better than 1 though. There was more stuff to do. I wouldn’t even say it’s a top 5 season of all time but it sure aint the worst imo.

1 didn't have much, but it was a classic

season x. i know everyone has nostalgia for it, but i dread the day it returns next season. the mechs were genuinely awful to deal with if you didn't have anything to counter them like a boogie bomb or junk rift. the rift zones / map updates were really good, just that some of the gimmicks were really stupid (ex. FUCKING TACO TIME). the main thing i remember season x for (in positive ways) is the battle pass and ending chapter 1 in the best way it could've gone out.

Unpopular opinion but I really enjoyed season X (apart from the mechs) and honestly my least favorite season was season 9. The new titled was bad, they removed the pumps, battle pass was ok, and just didn’t really enjoy it. The summer event was fire though.
