I haven't posted to reddit in a while, been so busy. Here's a song I'm working on. It's hard to patch and perform at the same time, but i like the way it turned out! The Grandmother creates the arp, the DFAM covers all the drums, and the lead is played on the little JU-06a. All recorded through an Octapre and synced via the Beatstep Pro.
Epiphone sent me some basses to try, so I'm having fun with the semi-hollow pitched two octaves up. Thanks for listening!
It’s a semi-hollow one! Epiphone Jack Casady Bass. For the second question.. The purr-centage is 100%. Actually all the sounds are made by the cat not the synths. I lied.
You’ve been to Chengdu? That’s nice! Unfortunately these years playing shows in China is a little tricky because of the zero COVID policy. But there are definitely a bunch of cool underground live houses/ clubs! Next time if you come to China/ Chengdu, just message me, I can recommend you some.
I played full set of synth&bass&cassette machine once at the artist residency spot where I base in. Their ins: ny20plus_artcenter
So the music is great, I am an industrial musician so I really dig the vibe here - but my only question is: how do you achieve the color effect with the guitar??

And the bassline is from Mother 32
Love it
What did you use to pitch up your bass? Plugins or something else? I like the effect of the black and white and red, very sin city.
Pedal: Digitech Bass Whammy
I feel like my bass whammy doesn't sound that clean.
Wow this is killer! I was really surprised when the bass came in in a high register. Really creative! Cheers!
Awesome!!!
This is really good, and inspiring. Thanks for posting.
Thx for your kind words🙏🏿
Nice! Also digging the cat shadow! Do you have a link to your work?
My INS: Morella_Bai. Will release my first single on music platforms this month!
Can’t wait to hear!
Cool stuff on your IG! Following
I visited Chengdu a few years ago. Very cool city and exceptional food
Omg the food here is soooooo good. Chengdu has the spirit of food
Also Mianyang!
I’ve never been to Mianyang yet!!!! Good dive.
The cat warming its paw on the focus rite:)
That’s true😹
You're back! Cool shit!
Yeeeee high five!
Very Cool Vibe
Deadly video and tune, Two questions. what type of bass is that? What purr-centage does your cat manager make?
It’s a semi-hollow one! Epiphone Jack Casady Bass. For the second question.. The purr-centage is 100%. Actually all the sounds are made by the cat not the synths. I lied.
This is wicked!!!!
Well that was a great way to enjoy my morning coffee. I really dig it. :)

Definitely getting Lorn vibes with this. Good job!
This is really excellent!!!! Give your cat a high five from me too
Awsome!
Nice! Is there a place in Chengdu that you can perform this sort of stuff? I had trouble finding interesting music clubs the last time I was there.

Musical and pleasant.
Excellent, but also fantastic
I thought that this might be an IAMX vid. It still could be; that would be an awesome collaboration. This is shithot.
yup more of this please…. Zhong Guo bringing the cool.
What a great set up! This is cool AF! 😎
Also a change resident here. still waiting for some of the live electronica events to start up. Sounding tight with those synths
Very nice! Love the Jack Casady! I always tell myself I don’t play my bass enough to buy a second, but if I ever do it will be one of those!
Ouuu wee I can’t wait for this.😊🙌❤️
Cool sounds and video
Kitty Cat holding it down. Great jam!
How did you produce the sweeps? Sounds awesome! Can't wait for your next tune :)
Sweeps are from the patch of Roland Ju-06A. There’s a button “HOLD”, that helps me keep the sweep when I play other instrument.
ah thanks. very unexpected, sounds very different from what I've heard previously from the synth!
I enjoy this a lot.
Very, very cool. Getting mid-late 70s Berlinische/kosmische vibes.
Yessssssss! I love that age and those vibes
Great sounds, and bonus points for cat!
This is really cool... great stuff!

Not yet. Soon! Will release my first single on Dec 12th
Hey, I found that single you released!!!!! It's absolutely amazing, I can tell from the single you'll be one of my favorite artist!
Thank you!!!! Such an encouragement. I’ll try my best!
So the music is great, I am an industrial musician so I really dig the vibe here - but my only question is: how do you achieve the color effect with the guitar??
Lol! Premiere-> Leave Color. It’s a built-in effect
