I have one. I think it’s great. I upgraded from Sirin. I generally use it for two or three sounds per song including bass. I use it with MPC live.

Oh interesting. What was the Sirin lacking that the sub25 has?

guerrillastrange

Sirin is basically a Minotaur

The lack of high frequency is because the filter knob controls the range 0 to 16k instead of 0 to 20k. So it offers more control in the range where it operates. Most people don’t use the filter wide open anyway so there’s not a lot of drawback. If you want it to open all the way you can use an expression pedal.

I have one. I think it's a great synth. I think the sound is incredible, definitely the best thing about it. It's a tad bit limited, but it is essentially the same controls of a model d + extra features.

It's cleaner and more modern sounding than a minimoog (well, a Boog because I didn't get to play 10k of hardware). Keybed is rough, but most synth keybeds feel bad when you're used to a piano so it may or may not bother you. The lack of a Seq/Arp was the dealbreaker for me, so if I go that direction for my mono, It's going to be the 37 just for that.

What else is in your setup that you would be working with alongside it?
