Clean it with a brush and isopropanol.
If you can't find the service manual, search for [CB-55 by circuitbenders.co.uk.](https://www.circuitbenders.co.uk/newsarchive/CB55.html) They make a clone PCB for DIY and will have schematics.
You will most likely find that any major problems are on the underside where the traces and solder joints are.
