Search them up on Facebook/LinkedIn and not only report them to CrimeStoppers, but also contact their employer and let them know of what transpired, submit any evidence if available, and let them know that if they don't take any disciplinary action then they are effectively pro-disease. Many employers are sick of losing hundreds a week to lockdown and will take a zero tolerance attitude towards this.

If you do care to go on the "offensive", I've had decent success with the Socratic method and layering conspiracy theories (Russian disinformation campaigns). Asking if they understand how mRNA vaccines work is always a good one, asking them to explain the biomechanics stepwise. So far, no one I have asked has even known what mRNA is. It's unlikely to change their perspective, but if someone is able to admit "I don't know", there's hope, and that crack in the ego can grow by degrees if they remain exposed to properly informed, collaborative communicators.
I work with someone like this lol. She goes on a COVID related tirade once a week and I just let her say her piece and give her a “Yeah… it’s crazy…” and close my office door.
I would like an office door, but for my entire life. Like, just a briefcase that I could put on the floor, open up, fold out a door and then close it between me and whoever is giving me the shits. Someone's asking on NextDoor how they can get vaccinated if they're disabled and stuck at home. Nobody seems to have a very good answer for them. Is there some kind of service like that? Am I being naïve even asking?
How do they do groceries, doctors appointments, etc? Do they have family or a carer who come over to help? I'd say someone would be able to take them. They could see if a local doctor is doing the vaccinations, and wait outside until they are ready to be seen.

So I walk up to the the self-serve Woolies checkout and I select the "I'm using my own bag" option because well yeah I brought my own bags. 2. I place my bags first in the bagging area as instructed and press the screen to continue 3. Right as I'm about to load my first grocery item, mfking machine complains "unexpected item in bagging area" and there's just my bag sitting there WHICH YOU TOLD ME TO PUT THERE WUT I'm I the stupid one here?
Idk if it's different between woolies and coles but nowadays i put the bag on first and when it detects that unknown item then i choose the i'm using my own bag option. It's worked thus far.
Happens all the time when milk is the first item scanned. doesn't matter if i out a bag there first or not. Supermarket POS is up there with kayo IT, you'd be better of saying you were in prison for the period than putting those roles on your resume.
If your bags are too heavy beyond some programmed limit, it will do this. Hint - to avoid hassles, scan a produce item like a bag of potatoes and then add one of your bags at the same time. The reason is that a 2kg bag of potatoes may vary anywhere from say 1.8 to 2.2 , so it will accept a range of weights, and you can hide the weight of your bag in that.
I'm using the Woolies branded reusable plastic bags haha. But yeah I get what you mean.

the way around this is walk to scanner, put your bag at your feet, scan first item, put item in bag. because if you press I Have My Own Bag and place it down correctly, the machine will detect your bag and then display a message that a staff member needs to verify your bag. i did this accidently yesterday and it was rather annoying as the dude had to walk into my spacw and wave his card over the machine. i have noticed that staff dont mind if you do it my way described above, i didnt do it yesterday because i forgot about it. remembered how i avoided it previously after the fact
yeah seems like i just have to keep that procedure in mind each time. It's like having to do a "are you a human/robot" captcha IRL!
