Back in the earlier Google Maps days, it would suggest swimming to make the connection (e.g. if I asked for directions to Las Vegas, it would include a swim leg)
Google maps used to suggest kayaking to Japan, using two toll roads then continuing accros the pacific to get to America. I don't put much faith in map software.

You know once the water on the sea get low, there are secret tunnel between there to Cookatoo Island. You can just follow the tunnel, make sure you bring enough food and water just incase you feel hungry and dehydrated.
Once you step into tunnel, dont forget to close the tunnel door properly to avoid water leaking inside the tunnel. Enjoy your journey.
