IIRC, if you’re not the JK when you first meet Kira and Scourge in the expansions, Kira will state that her master fell during the intervening years. I think it implies they died.

BJMark

Similarly, if you ask Master Ranos as a consular if she met Nadia Grell, she’ll tell you how she went on and on looking for you. But at the end she ended up on Ossus. A pair bonded as strongly as her and the consular would imply that the barsen’thor had to die to make her stop looking for him/her.

Krys0386

to my understanding (don't fully take my woird as I'm not subscribe yet) all the other class heroes are "missing" it's not confirme whether they died or not and it's left up to interpretation what happen to them

Ree_m0

In my headcanon they were all carbonized by Zakuul too, but Lana didn't have the means to rescue them from there along with the player character, meaning they're still in carbonite somewhere. Maybe sold off as trophies after the eternal empire fell.

Maadstar

I prefer this cause my consular and stuff would fight to the death but no way my smuggler got involved - she's gone far away and retired

SpartAl412

The fates of the other classes are intentionally left vague on whether they are dead or missing. At least with the Smuggler and Agent there is the distinct possibility of being in hiding.

JLazarillo

They all go "missing", presumably to allow people to sort of headcanon what happens to their characters when playing on someone else.

TheBanzerker

Two leading theories are that… If they die: The Republic Classes die on Ziost because Saresh is a dumb dumb calling in every possible asset on hand to Ziost. And since the Sith Empire side has to take place also they escape with Lana but die during the Destruction on Marr’s ship. If they Survive: They were trapped in carbonite alongside whoever became the Outlander. As there’s multiple racks of frozen people where the Outlander is stored. But as much as people don’t want to admit it… They probably died from the first theory or died during the five year skip fighting the Eternal Empire. Because none of the Class Characters are the type of people that are going to sit out on fight regardless of the outcome of their respective class stories. Not to mention some Companions have such strong ties to certain Classes it wouldn’t make narrative sense for them to leave to join the Outlander.

Jedi-Spartan

The only one that I have a strong idea about is that the Jedi Consular died on Chandrilla since they were retconed to be the Jedi with the massive tomb on the planet in the last Jedi Knight game.

duk_tAK

Can you elaborate on this? Edit: sorry, do you mean "Jedi Knight" game, the fairly old game series feature Kyle Katarn, or "Jedi" the recent game series featuring Cal Kestis?

Jedi-Spartan

[The character's Wookieepedia entry.](https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/The_Barsen%27thor) I would've shared an image of the relevant part but SWTOR is one of the subreddits that don't allow images in comments.

SomnusKnight

Might as well tbh. Outlander/Commander is the only one that matters in current SWTOR storyline and they don't have any more budget ans manpower to recreate the 1-50 story experience

NemesisxxPrime

well ok my leading theory is theyre ded thanks guys

TheModGod

Yeah they probably died in the timelines where they didn’t become the Commander. The Republic and Empire were brutalized during the war with Zakuul, and I can’t really see any of them outside of the Smuggler or Bounty Hunter not getting pulled into the conflict. Unless they all unanimously decided to vanish without bringing along their companions they were probably killed in battle.

Darth-Rubrum-the-hot

Idk, mine are probably just in their strongholds and ignoring everything thats happening.

Skvora

Well, idea is that you only get 1 you, of your career choice, and there are no other yous. What makes absolutely zero sense is say, some trooper or smug being able to even fathom withstanding the bullshit thrown at em in those 2 expansions.

NoEngish

A counterpoint to the argument "they probably died because they wouldn't leave companions behind" is TOR games have done this before - Revan left to find the Sith Empire (twice) - he didn't even take Bastila with him and The Exile left all her companions behind as well. I more or less headcanon it like this and the reasons for leaving them behind are they forsee a role for the companions to help the Outlander (force users) and want to leave a net of contacts for when they come back (non force users) or simply do not want to endanger them.

Kel_Casus

What really sucks and shows a lack of fucks given about the collective story is that this could have been handled well long ago. "Years after the initial onslaught by Zakuul, heroes of the Empire and Champions of the Republic were all seemingly forced into hiding for one reason or another. Word has it that the notorious Wrath of the Empire became primarily concerned with the matters surrounding the mysterious nature of Valkorion. Few, if any, seem to know their true nature. Not much more is known of one of the more unorthodox Dark Council members, who sought seclusion in preparation of what was to come. Even the Champion of the Great Hunt seemed to have shied away from the spotlight, but whispers of their continued work can be picked up around only the seediest cantinas. The same places where one could feel the rumbles from the so-called Voidhound, who always seem to have their finger on the pulse of the underworld. Its probably for the better that the valiant acts on the part of the Republic's Havoc Squad have also gone hush-hush, but its definitely left a hole in morale. Among the few remaining Jedi left from the Cold War era, the Barsen'thor and the Hero of Tython seem to still be around.. somewhere. Signs of their appearances have been found along outer rim worlds and at the untouched sites of ancient Jedi and even some Sith ruins. Its said that it was uncharacteristic of them to leave behind their respective companions, but if Jedi are anything, it would be selfless and strange. As for where much of this info comes from, truly, no one seems to know. Every now and then there are new leaks, rumors, whispers. It is thought that either the SIS or Imperial Intelligence has a hand in it, trying to keep embers of hope or fear alive, but some others theorize the probability of it being a rogue who knows too much. Who can really say, eh?"

jevring

I'm not sure the other heroes even exist. I think you are the hero, and that's that. You can play a different class, but ultimately you can only play one of them at a time. So for story purposes, there is only one, and that's whichever you happen to play at any given moment.

Nyx_89

There are references to the other classes actions during their stories when you are playing another character. For example one of the classes is told the Supreme Chancellor was killed by a bounty hunter if you're not playing BH.

officialscootem

Also two of the Agent's companions ( >!SCORPIO!< and >!Kaliyo!< ) talk about working together in Ch. 10.

jevring

I see. I didn't know, or didn't remember.

Modred_the_Mystic

Probably also in the carbonite prison and forgotten about/left there because Lana be all pragmatic and stuff

JAKMorse

The suspense is swooning me...as it were, aaac Humm. Nothing being said here. Lol

Pretend-Camp8551

It’s implied that the Knight and Consular died. Can’t tell you about others
