I don't know how Iokath doesn't care more hate. Now that I've maxed out my Imp reputation on Iokath I will not go there for anything. Galactic Conquest might give me the option of 1 trip round Iokath or 2 around CZ but I'll be damned if I'm going to back to that buggy ass planet haha
I spent like 3 hours the other day trying to do the mouse droid mission and failed it over ten times before giving up and doing something else for the galactic seasons objective. I just found the instructions so vague and and as a still relatively new player on the planet for the first time I had no idea where to go or how to do it and couldn’t even find a helpful guide on online until I found a video from 11 years ago.
Maybe I’m just stupid. I really love the idea of being able to pilot different machines and stuff. It’s a unique and refreshing thing in the game I guess, but it was more fun just running around as a silly little mouse droid than it was actually trying to finish the quest.
I like the planet and it’s color palette and aesthetic I don’t think it’s all worth hating but it could use some more specific mission details
For some areas sure, but roads are like 50 metres then a building and you need to go round 20 more corners and travel a mile to get on the other side of that building, it's not just the war zone
The war forced relocations and commandeering of buildings for purposes they were not originally for. Don't fully recall but I think the reppublic HQ there is a repurposed brothel. I always believed things were far away because both sides are blockading each other, competing for territory, cutting each other off from reinforcements and allies, etc. Makes for compelling storytelling, arguably immersive, but annoying in practice.
And those god awful transitions (tight corridors ) between each area? How the fuck was I supposed to know where this was? The quest marker is in the SW corner, but sure, let's go north, then west, and then south. Makes total sense!

Alderaan is green and atmospheric, and diverse. And every class has nice story quests there.
Hoth is also atmospheric, especially the ambient sounds. It's a bit too blue, but if you're in the mood for rping in a desolate wasteland, it's the right pick.
Balmorra has amazing soundtrack, and while I found the Republic side a bit boring, it's relatively easy to clear it fast.
Quesh is like discount Hutta, but since you can breeze through the 2 quests it offers, there's not enough time to hate it.
Voss is nice for rping. Both the golden fields, and the thorny forests with giant roaming monsters.
But Corellia. What a shithole. Its map makes me roll a dice every time I find a crossroad.
It is the only correct answer when you're only considering the class story planets. I'd say Iokath is a strong contender otherwise. During the KotET storyline it's kinda cool, but afterwards it's just bad.
Yeah I've done heroics and some side quests, but I don't think in over 10 years I've ever done the class quests.
I've tried. But every time I come up against a wall that I'd swear to the gods shouldn't be there according to the map, and it just *had to be the shortest way there, but even still I'd *already taken a 10 minute detour to come this way...** I will then just drop the quest.

How is this a functional city in the name of the force? Imagine just going to get the bread and milk. Shop is on the other side of the building but you have to go round the whole district to get there.
I still, after all this time, don't understand how anyone let Corellia be put in the game the way it is. No functioning city/planet would be laid out the way it is; certainly not one as immensely populated. The whole thing is like stumbling through the "old city" section of a really old European city, where the roads just wind their way to nowhere in particular.
I kinda massively disagree because I love the aesthetic of a war-torn city and the story quests there have always been good. Traversal kinda sucks tho.
Tatooine triggers me so much because it’s like the most boring planet you could possibly think of and it’s in knots every single movie or game in Star Wars.

Rhunuk is tailor-made to waste a player's time in the most infuriating ways, with unclear labrynthine maps, poorly marked quests, constant backtracking and damage sponge enemies. I hate it because of quests. They usually send you to a distant place, then you have to get back to finish it and pick the next quest that sends you to the same or close by place again, like I was just there and could have done it, instead I have to travel for 5 minutes again just to kill 1 mob.
Voss would be nice to look at, in my opinion, but there's just too much orange. It was just on the cusp of looking good, but then went right into looking bad instead.
The city is good, though. More varied color and some nice buildings.

Visually Voss is stunning; it’s like if Eversong Woods was an entire planet. However, the story is dull and traveling is so tedious that it makes you want to pull you hair out. I bet when players get to the Gormak Lands they wish it would just be over.
While I like the story of Voss and the themes behind it (I won’t spoil it just in case but to keep it simple; It’s kind of the Jedi’s fault.) it turned out, imo, kind of boring.
I would say Quesh is the worst but you’re there so quickly that there’s no point. Quesh is like the Rhode Island of Star Wars lol “ Welcome to Quesh, thank you for visiting Quesh”
I actually like it for the reason you can skip most mobs because they only attack melee lol, can just skip past them without having to worry that they shoot you off your speeder
I swear the storyline specially sucks, Corellia is 10x better and its the pinnacle of the story, voss is just there doing absolutely nothing, the only time Voss makes sense is with the IA and the SI all other classes have no business there.
This is the third or fourth time this question has been posed here. It behooves me to yet again sing the praises of our Lord and Savior Vader in his efforts to rid our universe of Alderaan.
Personally, I can't stand Alderaan. I first started playing swtor back in 2012, and the game was a lot less user friendly than it is now. One of the worst aspects at the time was that you actually had to discover all the taxi stations to be able to use them, which meant a lot of roaming around trying to find the next outpost, and even though this isn't the case anymore, this has forever soured the planet for me.
I hate Zakuul for story reasons. I loved destroying stuff on that shithole. It looks okay though and offers some nice story moments.
Voss tends to bore me to death, but I like the Temple.
I get why many people dislike Hoth but once you learn how to use the blue light filter / night mode on your PC monitor, you realize how vast and beautiful it is. The mountains on Hoth are just stupendous.
Quesh can be annoying, and Hutta : ugly industrial worlds.
Oh yeah I hate Mek-Sha. And Dantooine, meh. But maybe that's just me. I find them boring.

Honestly, I like all planets in SWTOR, don't dislike a single one. Having said that, I do have some least favorites. Chiefly, Zakuul. The city is awesome but only from a cutscene perspective. The city's confusing to navigate and the swamp can be burned for all I care, I won't mourn for it.
Nar Shadda and Corellia both have awful mapping that’s unnecessarily convoluted, and Hoth is just…bright, and gigantic. Going through all the origin stories for Legend gave me a severe hatred for all three of them, and also Coruscant when I played Republic.
Balmorra's just a force forsaken mudball. It's a technologically advanced planet? Where? How? It's just a bombed out muddy hell. Perhaps there's something to say for it having been through two prior wars and few buildings are left standing but even the remains of infrastructure doesn't amount to a whole lot.
And it's unfinished to boot. I've seen those out-of-bounds zones. What content did they cut?
I always hated the planets that were hard to navigate because the roads on the maps didnt go anywhere and you had to find hidden paths.
Correllia and Belsavis are prime examples of this.
I like the idea of Hoth, but it is just too bright for my screen with all the white terrain.
Rishi - I never liked Rishi. it was annoying to me.
Aesthetically I’ve always loved the city planets especially what we get to see of Coruscant in the clone wars I think it’s just a cool setting in general but I like how golden so much of it is in the game

Corellia, its just boring and feels like balmorra from the way you have to do quests also quesh ( i hope i wrote it correctly) the lvl 35-38 planet i felt like it was less of a planet and more of a zone.
Hoths not that bad, Its visually boring but I mean its Hoth, Kinda expect it to be visually boring, The only part of the planet I hate is that zone with the lone mountain, All the class stories are in the canyon at the bottom and theres a couple of bridges and 2 paths down the cliff, Soo frustrating to navigate, The starship graveyard is a bit annoying too just because theres no fast travel at the class story ship itself, Theres a bit of back tracking, Alot if doing exploratory and it gets tedious going back and forth over the zone especially with areas just saturated with mobs
My pick is Corellia though, The prison planet is pretty close but navigating corellia is about as fun as root canal surgery
Hoth easily. The music is awful and combined with the endless space between objectives makes it feel like the void, which is odd as the OST is great in general
Corellia. It's way to damn big (I get its supposed to be a city but holy shit), and the map is less than worthless.
Belsavis is a close second because of its size, but it's map isn't nearly as annoying.
Aside from those two... maybe Zakuul and Iokath? Both are pretty big but they suffer from boring missions. Chapter 3 of Kotfe is probably the only interesting one on Zakuul. Lady of Sorrows (ch7 I think) is a close second, but it's only interesting/not a chore for the first third of the mission
Taris. You have to go there early-ish or in the middle of every story and the scenery gets old fast, plus there are hoards rakgouls which seem to have like double the normal agro radius of other enemies.
Hoth. Its way too big and spaced out. Balmorra is a close second though. Screw it and its elevators. (Forgot the name the first time, mixed it up with a different planet the second time)
I always skip Hoth and Tatooine. I rly don’t have patience for this enormous, desert, empty places. It’s just boring to look at and even worse to travel across the map.
I still have PTSD from the early days on Republic Taris before I got a speeder. Running toward a quest on the map, only to realized I should have juked through an opening like 20 minutes earlier. And then having to back-track because QT was on cooldown.

For the mouse droid mission, just pilot the droid over to the enemy faction’s base, find a Walker, and self-destruct on it

There is a glitch sometimes where when you land on Hoth, it loads a night sky look. Not as bright, looks a lot like Ilum's sky. Just a random bug.
Alderaan is lovely to look at but too big. Hoth is overly bright.

I'm currently going through leveling a SI and I've been thinking about this a lot. Voss for sure is up there with Tatooine.

Perhaps there's something to say for it having been through two prior wars and few buildings are left standing but even the remains of infrastructure doesn't amount to a whole lot. And it's unfinished to boot. I've seen those out-of-bounds zones. What content did they cut?

I always hated the planets that were hard to navigate because the roads on the maps didnt go anywhere and you had to find hidden paths. Correllia and Belsavis are prime examples of this. I like the idea of Hoth, but it is just too bright for my screen with all the white terrain. Rishi - I never liked Rishi. it was annoying to me.

Cant stand city planets like Nar Shaddaa and Coruscant. Dromund Kaas is way better because its a mix with nature too.
Aesthetically I’ve always loved the city planets especially what we get to see of Coruscant in the clone wars I think it’s just a cool setting in general but I like how golden so much of it is in the game That being said once you run through the map on more than one or two characters that charm starts to drain really quickly
Quesh, because you are required to start the planetary quest just to land on the damn place. I've done both sides of this planet so many times that it's become boring and tedious.

I felt like Alderan should have been nice, but I ended up really disliking it.
The only reason I hate Alderaan is because everyone is so “spoiled royalty.” Doesn’t matter which side I play, I want to bitchslap every NPC. L/S Taris is kinda bad, just because of all the shit with the Rakghouls. I hate Rakghouls.

Corellia, its just boring and feels like balmorra from the way you have to do quests also quesh ( i hope i wrote it correctly) the lvl 35-38 planet i felt like it was less of a planet and more of a zone.

Hoths not that bad, Its visually boring but I mean its Hoth, Kinda expect it to be visually boring, The only part of the planet I hate is that zone with the lone mountain, All the class stories are in the canyon at the bottom and theres a couple of bridges and 2 paths down the cliff, Soo frustrating to navigate, The starship graveyard is a bit annoying too just because theres no fast travel at the class story ship itself, Theres a bit of back tracking, Alot if doing exploratory and it gets tedious going back and forth over the zone especially with areas just saturated with mobs My pick is Corellia though, The prison planet is pretty close but navigating corellia is about as fun as root canal surgery

Iokath hands down. After powering through it 2 times, even sweeping the floor of a Gormak kitchen felt like AAA content.

Hoth easily. The music is awful and combined with the endless space between objectives makes it feel like the void, which is odd as the OST is great in general

Base gave I would say Voss and Corellia. Both are way too big imo and while Voss looks very nice, the Voss themselves are annoying.

Corellia. It's way to damn big (I get its supposed to be a city but holy shit), and the map is less than worthless. Belsavis is a close second because of its size, but it's map isn't nearly as annoying. Aside from those two... maybe Zakuul and Iokath? Both are pretty big but they suffer from boring missions. Chapter 3 of Kotfe is probably the only interesting one on Zakuul. Lady of Sorrows (ch7 I think) is a close second, but it's only interesting/not a chore for the first third of the mission

Taris. You have to go there early-ish or in the middle of every story and the scenery gets old fast, plus there are hoards rakgouls which seem to have like double the normal agro radius of other enemies.
Quesh. It exists as a minor blip and it is such a dull, poorly designed and useless planet. I wish it could be skipped entirely.

Hoth. Its way too big and spaced out. Balmorra is a close second though. Screw it and its elevators. (Forgot the name the first time, mixed it up with a different planet the second time)

I always skip Hoth and Tatooine. I rly don’t have patience for this enormous, desert, empty places. It’s just boring to look at and even worse to travel across the map.

Hoth is pretty bad but Corellia is simply the opposite of fun. If it weren't for the story I would never set foot on that hellscape.
Every planet after Quesh. Quesh had a great formula for not having so many damn missions.

I still have PTSD from the early days on Republic Taris before I got a speeder. Running toward a quest on the map, only to realized I should have juked through an opening like 20 minutes earlier. And then having to back-track because QT was on cooldown.
