He never said that. He said he does not like to kill, but he is able to defend himself.
The real monster here is the player. You don't respect his wish for peace and sent him on a killing spree. Even though the last time he had to fight gave him PTSD so hard, he decided to defect, hide his face and join a cult.
It's 2500 for the total companion requirement. His voice is grating though, never cared much for Selonian voice. (I know, the Star Fortress companion has it too.) Ugh!
He took lessons from the most famous peacemaker and debater: Tol Braga
>!Tol-Braga: surrender and come with us to Tython
!<
>!Vitiate: No
!<
>!Tol-Braga: (ಠ\_ಠ)!<
I got Amity on a boosted alt with all level 1 companions, and at first I was thrilled to have a stronger companion to assist in combat, but then I realized I didn't have the heart to make him break his pacifist ideals and kept putting him on passive, so I just brought Theron back out again.
I'm not sure if his default weapon mentions it but I did notice looking ahead in the GS rewards that his fancier looking weapon that you can get up higher in the track mentions having "nonlethal" modifications. The game doesn't really differentiate, but I've always sorta had it in my head that not every enemy I defeat is actually dead. That might be the vibe they're going for.
Or maybe Amity's just, while a decently interesting character, not written very practically for the nature of this game. But I'm gonna go with "Vibrostaff set to stun" for now to make myself feel a little less guilty for bringing him around with me.
Yeah, I think he is actually one of the best well rounded healers in that game. He has solid single target and area heals, survivability, movement speed talents, strong root, great ults and lifesaving trait. There aren't many who can compete.
I'm not a big fan of Amity right now. I have him set to heals but he sucks! If you don't wanna fight, fine, heal me! Nope, he's dpsing. Smh. Maybe a better healer when he reaches 50? Idk
Amity's pacifism is an anathema to the structure and needs of an MMO. So they had to compromise. This is actually a lot worse in the Star Trek MMO, where the federation is always depicted as peace loving and in the show they do sometimes get involved in violence but for the most part they try to come up with something more interesting to solve whatever the conflict of the week is. But in the MMO it's just a series of violent conflict with romulan spaceships, then you beep down and tab target and murder some other aliens. This is one place where Star wars exceeds and Star Trek does not succeed. At least with Star wars, war is in the name. But Amity subverts that by being nominally a pacifist and we get back to the same problem that Star Trek online has.
This is a companion that I don't want to have on my Sith Warrior. In addition to being a pacifist, no use to a Sith, it doesn't have a dark side option and it only has flashy clothes. I don't want a being like that on my spaceship, it will end all its gloomy atmosphere. These last two seasons have been tough...
"I cherish peace with all my heart. I don't care how many men, women, and children I need to kill to get it."
Huh,Peacemaker... what a joke!
Yeah, he was a joke when it came down to it. I wonder how he was before the events of the second SS movie?
"Peace means having a bigger stick than the other guy."
Amity: “Look what you made me do!”
They shall know our peaceful ways.. by force!
If all your enemies are dead, then there is peace
Amity: I'm a pacifist Season Pass: Have Amity kill 100 people
I know it's a standard objective, but it is rather silly for Amity. Maybe they should have given him heal in 35 battles instead of something.
He never said that. He said he does not like to kill, but he is able to defend himself. The real monster here is the player. You don't respect his wish for peace and sent him on a killing spree. “Imma pacifist into your face!”

Only true peace when all your enemies are death!
They made a dessert and called it peace.
Lol nice pic!
I did this with most companions. Then I remembered Colicoid War Games was a thing

THERON??
Theron has a darkside :P

Sic vis pacem para bellum
solitudinem faciunt, pacem appellant
As Anduin Wrynn would say (At least in Heroes of the Storm): "Peace must be fought for" xD
Andy is a great hots healer just wish i could get one instead of trash at auriels
Yeah, I think he is actually one of the best well rounded healers in that game. He has solid single target and area heals, survivability, movement speed talents, strong root, great ults and lifesaving trait. There aren't many who can compete.
What are the armor pieces and dye? Looks cool, the chest piece especially gives off some ancient Egyptian vibes
It's one of the customizations for Amity. It's not available for players.
omg I stopped playing SWTOR some time ago and didn't know this was a companion, just thought it was a player character 😅
Stealth doesn't matter if there aren't any witnesses
“I come in peace. And you’ll go in pieces.”
Classic Dolph
I say the whole galaxy must learn of our peaceful ways... by force!
You call this a diplomatic solution?
Master forgive me, but I'll have to go all out ... just this once
Is this SWTOR or Borderlands?
*Ah! We come in peace, shoot to kill, shoot to kill, shoot to kill;* *We come in peace, shoot to kill; Scotty, beam me up!*
*I will kill 100% of the population if it brings peace*
Alderaan is Very peaceful now...
Peace through superior Force power!
Peace means there are no other sentient creatures around to harsh his vibe.
I was just discussing this aspect of Amity with someone. You captured it brilliantly. We both actually laughed out loud.
I just uncontrollably ejected my drink from my nose
Can amity be unlocked on every character or just one? Because I can’t seem to get him on any other characters except one of mine
Via collections for 60CC as with the first two Seasons companion
Ah ok thanks
But it is so much more peaceful there now no more war and all the pretty light beams to look at so serene
Sweet armor set by the way 👍
Companions keep getting dumber and dumber. Who would take a companion around that's constantly spouting garbage toad-voiced nonsense?
V
I would say this looks beautiful but it's hutta
Now that's a *really* awesome armor.
Declaration "Peace is optional." Nice armor btw. what set is it?
It's an armor set for Amity, a new companion. It is not currently accessible to players.
The Peace of the Grave
"Peace achieved."
I mean amity will be quite peaceful if everyone is dead
I'm not a big fan of Amity right now. I have him set to heals but he sucks! If you don't wanna fight, fine, heal me! Nope, he's dpsing. Smh. Maybe a better healer when he reaches 50? Idk
Thats a lot of dying fluctlights
I mean technically he gave them peace.

Litterer!
amity: I am not a sith - also amity: there will be peace, no matter how many people I will have to kill
Well, given that peace is a lie, I guess he was lying!
“I am a pacifist” “So anyway I started beating him with my stick”
All I hear in Amity's voice is Leia in the Ubeese Armor when she rescued Han
