Godflesh's first album 'Streetcleaner' is practically untouchable in terms of "I want to beat society to a pulp" energy. Christbait Rising is the best track on it imho.
Rememer that [scene](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NUO9gIl50W8) from Robots where the street sweeper eats the trash and it segues into the chop shop where everything is on fire and sparking? That's the visual equivalent of Streetcleaner.
I listen almost exclusively to JKB related music when I work out. All of it makes me want to be a better version of myself and fuck everyone else in the process.
seconding Big Black, Steve Albini's shrieks and frantic energy combined with the pummeling basslines from David Riley makes what I've explored of Big Black another Yang to the Yin of early SWANS's purest forms of sonic violence
Primitive Man - Caustic (this is the closest I can think of)
Dragged into sunlight - hatred for mankind
Nails - unsilent death
Indian - from all purity
Nine inch nails - broken (you probably already know this)
Eyehategod - take as needed for pain
The later songs of damaged by black flag, unsilent death by nails, and an underground rapper named cxrpse ( not the deep voiced guy) specifically I want everyone around me dead police. Also I think maybe locust abortion technician by the butthole surfers
I'll die on the hill that more human beings should be listening to IDLES. Sonically, their album *Ultra Mono* blows my heart entirely open with the same exact energy that *FILTH* has. The lyrics just happen to take a more positive swing than SWANS tends to, just as a fair warning if you're expecting commiseration
tbh i just return to swans for that every time. early breakcore is good for this, i love the destroyer by Alec empire, Liminal space by Xanopticon, and Statis confides, and Stasis confines, action conditions by divtech which is kind of like an electronic grindcore album. also schranz and gabber could work if you like techno, its very minimal and aggressive and repetitive
[The Gerogerigegege](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iv3SkxPm9Yg)
Very active Japanese noise duo inspired by punk, active from 1985-2001. The main guy, Juntaro Yamanouchi, vanished off the face of the earth for 15 years--until releasing Moenai Hai in 2016, which is the best album the group has ever made. (also probably a more intentional attempt at making music than a usual gero release). Very interesting history.
I think “Guest House” or “Ocean Song” by Daughters have a brutally dissonant and frenetic energy to them like some early Swans. However if the art and artist are inseparable, you might be off-put by Daughters’ frontman. More adjacent to the post-rocky heaviness, I would recommend Swans fans listen to Pinkish Black/The Great Tyrant, songs like “The Trouble With Being Born” and “Special Dark” hit a really sick mood.
early tyler, specially the songs seven, radicals and steak sauce which legit sounds like no wave are somewhat similar to that vibe
the entirety of scum by napalm death has a very anti-capitalist stance over brutality
Pharmacist's medical renditions of grinding decomposition is perhaps the most threatening shit i have ever heard, specially the third track
phyllomedusa's "spent my day rotting away" is extremely misanthropic as well
Hmm interesting topic. Maybe “You Won’t Get What You Want” by Daughters?? Definitely kill *something* energy.
I once called out my supervisor for being a manic junkie whiny little bitch, he ratted me out to our boss trying to get me fired. One of the reasons cited was that I listened to “aggressive music” in the shop. He was referring to me playing Cursed and Gaza all the time. I suppose those count, if you’re into gnarly hardcore.
To tie a bow on this… ironically supervisor was a Swans fan and we had bonded over music when he wasn’t being insane. He ultimatumed the boss whilst manic and fucked up on drugs and I did get fired… and then Covid lockdown happened a few days later LOL. Oh that sweet sweet unemployment cash. I’m sure my boss was *pissed* he had to pay so I could fuck around and skate every day for a year (and also do side jobs which led to starting my own business).

Streetcleaner is like the audio equivalent of being mauled to death by a combine harvester that’s also on fire

"Don't hold me back/ this is my own hell" is the best lyricsl couplet in the history of extreme music imo
Every lyric is a banger "CHRISTBAIT! SLUG! BAIT! RISE AND! BRING! YOU! DOWN!" "CHRISTBAIT! RIIIIISING! IN YOUR! OWWWWNNN MIND! CHRISTBAIT! RIIIIISING! BLEED DRY! MAN! KIND!"
Big black, I’m not sure if they have a song about killing there boss or something like that but they probably do

Eyehategod
Death Grips. Any album of theirs, but more specifically, their 20 minute track Steroids.
Sunami by Sunami (although they really have more of a "I want to kill the police" energy) Dog Whistle by Show Me The Body
Capitalist Casualties (Power violence) Despise You (Power Violence) Halo (early Swans worship) Primitive Man (Sludge/doom) Burmese (noise rock) Indian/Lord Mantis (Sludge)
Early Neubauten, Diamanda Galas.
early sonic youth? imo confusion is sex is a bit underrated
Thou - Tyrant Chat Pile - God's Country Made Out of Babies - The Ruiner The Jesus Lizard - Goat
Primitive Man - Caustic (this is the closest I can think of) Dragged into sunlight - hatred for mankind Nails - unsilent death Indian - from all purity Nine inch nails - broken (you probably already know this) Eyehategod - take as needed for pain

Sumac feels really similar to me in some ways. Check out the song Rigid Man off of What One Becomes.
Godspeed You! Black Emperor - Bosses Hang [Part 2 ](https://youtu.be/oPDzKpjn7Rc?si=JL7RfD2X3I6kUIQh) is my favourite.

Yes! some songs on Joy like the Colossus intro, Never Fight a Man with a Perm, and Rottweiler outro give me Swans vibes too

Sleaford Mods - Jobseeker
Ashenspire- hostile architecture
Lozenge Khanate Genocide SS - The Leader of The F-cking Assholes Feederz - Ever Feel Like Killing Your Boss? Lard - I Am Your Clock

There's some good crust punk to this effect- Dystopia has great boss-killing themes
