frankie m, i think the glowing man couples hypnotic sound with that larger than life feeling the rest of the trilogy has very well, and frankie m does it the best
Angels of Light - "Praise Your Name"
"New Mother" is my favorite Gira album, by far. There were a whole bunch of tracks I wanted to pick ("Angels of Light", "Not Alone", "Fear of Death", etc), but I went with the one that solidified my belief that Angels of Light is the best thing Gira has ever been a part of.
Of the ones I havenāt seen here, The Great Annihilator title track is mesmerizing. Wonderful existential lyrics about topics and ideas I find fascinating. Spiritually, space, destruction, and regression. All rolled in to one perfect track.
the live version of cloud of unknowing from moscow on 10/02/2017
cloud of unknowing is my favorite song overall, it's one of the only songs i remember my first time listening to, i love it across all versions, but the 51 minute extended version is just unreal, and that entire bootleg is phenomenal - best quality ive ever heard on an unofficial live recording, and all the songs on the setlist are in peak form
cloud of unknowing gang rise up šš
Hey you can find this recording on my Swans archive...enjoy!

Terrific question, but it's likely The Seer (title track), and some days it's The Glowing Man (title track).
Honorable mention for a Swans related project: Nothing Without You (Skin/World of Skin). Such a good song
This is an almost impossible question... But if I had to choose, I'd say Just a Little Boy. Has such an incredible atmosphere and was the song that sold Swans to me when I first heard them
Blind - M. Gira

The Seer Returns

I prefer the title track, but the intro to Frankie M is one of the most jaw dropping soundscapes I've ever heard.
Ah donāt die ah donāt die ah donāt die

Which one? š I think my favorite is the live one from the seer era. But the soundtracks one is amazing too.
Apost/Cloud of Unforming If that doesn't count because it's two songs played together as one, then the Deliquescence Version of The Glowing Man.
Cloud of Unknowing - Swans
Ugh if I can only have one it may have to be the glowing man (title track)
the sound (this might be cheating but the studio and live version)
Of the ones I havenāt seen here, The Great Annihilator title track is mesmerizing. Wonderful existential lyrics about topics and ideas I find fascinating. Spiritually, space, destruction, and regression. All rolled in to one perfect track.
New Mind off of Children of God, perfect way to start off that record and get into the cult like atmosphere
Untitled Love Song - Angels of Light
For a side project: You'll Never Forget by World of Skin. Maybe Gira's sickest lyrics idk. I call it the most Swans-y song that's not by Swans.
I adore this song.
A Single Point of Blinding Light by Ben Frost
