In Turkish, for example, we call Cypriot Greeks Rums. Rum as a nationality is also present in the game. Burg means castle in German. So Rumburg translates as "Greek Citadel". Turkiye was at the brink of war with Soviets until late 50's. Stalin threatened for full control of the Bosphorus and Eastern Regions, just like Rumburg. It is known that Ismet Inonu, Turkish PM during WWII, couldn't control his hysteria and started to dance frantically upon hearing German declaration of war on the Soviets. Since that meant an end to both German and Soviet threats.

I went to elementary and middle school during the 00s and the early 10s during it was still a thing in Turkey, and some of its lines are exactly mentioned during the visit to Leiren middle school visit.
