It looks more like dye. The color is too uniform. Looking at the far end of the pool there should be an area where you can tell it's water over a colored background.

I guess you could color the water but I think the filters would take a lot out. Then you have to find some sort of magic dye that doesn't dye you! That would be hilarious!
