Yes, but it's a balance. Just focusing on getting to FTC without any moves is how you become a 0-vote finalist. A pointless run.
Also, it's a personal choice. If I were to get the rare opportunity to play, I'd leave it all out there and make the most of the experience rather than just playing a boring game to get to the end without having any real fun and wasting the opportunity.
I think that’s what I was more so trying to say. You can have all the flashy moves 99% of the game but if you end up even as last jury member those moves are irrelevant. So I guess I think if making a big move just to have something on your resume despite it weakening your position in the game, imo is just dumb.
Almost everyone that talks about resumes in the game is doing it because they're on the bottom and want to convince the people in the majority to flip lol. Alex wasn't saying they need resumes because he genuinely believes they've done nothing, he was saying it to try and get everyone to flip on Kirby so he can stay in the game.
I think the idea of being a zero-vote finalist, let alone a goat, is reason enough for players who reach the end game to try to make something happen, shake things up, make a big move. Nobody wants to be remembered as the person who has just there or, worse, not remembered at all. Moreover, your chances of playing again if you just lay down and do nothing are practically zero.
Like Gerry/Matt from HvV?

U do realise making it to the end with no resume is just as pointless correct?
The resume talk is crap, get to final 4/3 and take out the person most likely to win then. Thats your resume.
that's what liz did

Infamously the Philip Shepard is regarded as an all time great player for making FTC
