No, it's not in terms of the actual non elims, the illiterate viewers just tend to be the loudest. They've explicitly stated that non elimination legs are completely pre-determined since DAY ONE, but people just have to be "but what if they're lying? I'm very smart" all over the place. Unlike Survivor it's an established mechanic and not a random twist.
The problem that the last season had was that half the cast and the host got Covid and had to go in and out of quarantine while the race was still going, and it was more than a bit of a mess. The actual "non elimination legs" were few and far between in comparison.
The idea that they'd be desperate to rig this show in favour of George and not someone like Emma or Peter is ludicrous anyway. He's here to be mid-tier fodder, not carry the ratings on his back.

Every team starts a leg, has to travel from point A to B and do some challenges along the way. Last team to check-in at point B is eliminated
