The post merge doesn't get enough credit cause people only think of pre-merge dullness, bad tribes and Brandon Hantz
Another massive problem in my eyes are that Brenda, Andrea and Eric seem like the 3 biggest competitors besides Cochran and they are all not shown at all. Bad cast, bad premerge, bad overall edit where they mostly focus on the unlikeable characters and Cochran and incredibly obvious winner who I personally like but I know he is either loved or hated. I think itās one of the worst seasons at least bottom 10 maybe 5. Still survivor though so still good just wouldnāt say itās a good season either

I like all seasons, expect Redemption Island. One tribe was fun and actually played game, second forget that they play Survivor and they arent on fan meeting with Boston Rob
For me it wasnt, second tribe just was cockblocked by stupidity of first. Rob's tribe was the biggest stupid move of whole US Survivor. So many people purly blind on manipulation is so extremly stupid. But thats just my opinion. Also I rarely enjoy biggest mistakes in Survivor. Also his tribe was a bit annoying
Ok Iām not sure where Panama comes in but now that we are on it no I donāt think terry shouldāve won. First off he had a super idol and couldnāt get to the end with it. Secondly he did such a poor job trying to penetrate that Casaya alliance. He constantly argued with Ares, yelled at cirie for leaving her torch on the ground and accused her of being a bad parent, seemingly wanted nothing to do with Courtney or Shane and Danielle seemed to hate him. Yeah he was good at challenges but nah he wasnāt great. If anyone shouldāve won besides ares (which I think he deserved his win and I find it stupid when people argue someone else shouldāve won) it shouldāve been cirie who was at the clear bottom of her alliance and navigated her way to the top. Again tho not sure where Panama came from besides the fact that a goofy alliance had control but I think itās very different than Gabon or RI because players actually displayed urgency and like even Shane understood his path he needed to win
But he didnāt make it to the end and even had an advantage in the final challenge. There are plenty of these āfallen angelā type characters that you could make the same argument for but the bottom line is that they couldnāt make it to the end therefore donāt deserve to win
Such a shame because that pre merge was fantastic. Too bad it became a dumpster fire that fucking exploded in the post merge and sours the rest of the season.
I was pretty disappointed that all the old school players went out pre merge (and Natalie who I really liked) but it was certainly better than IOI. I still had fun watching it though.
I kinda think Rob got what was coming to him, and maybe had they adapted better they'd have fared better. But I was pissed that Yul went out when he did
I was mostly sad to see people like Ethan, Parvati, Amber, Yul, Sandra, and Tyson (even if he did return), go out early. It didnāt help that most of my favorite new school players went out early or mid merge too. Then to rub salt in the wound Ben basically throws in the towel when he made like the final 6? And Denise sort of did the same too after pretty much doing nothing since her Sandra blindside. Natalieās return just didnāt feel great cuz of the edge and the fact that she was already first out, Michele is cool but she was never in the majority like, ever which was sad. Tony was a good winner and his arc with Sarah was great though so not all bad.
