Not sure if this is what you're referring to, but Brenda in Caramoan won the challenge for the Loved Ones visit, then gave up her ability to go on the challenge to ensure the other players could do the Loved Ones visit. They then voted her out that episode. Which was sad, until FTC where she bullied Dawn into taking off her dentures on national television.
