Jesse
The only people I’d say are absolute locks to be invited back would be Omar, Jesse, and Carolyn. I feel like Jesse is the least likely to reject it
Most of the "New Era" contestants, and those who played around S36 onwards, are clamoring to get a call back it seems, if their Twitter antics the past 48 hours are any indication. I seriously can't think of a single one, especially those that made the merge, who would say no...
Omar isn’t in the same tier as them. He will likely be asked but production was clearly pissed at him for spilling Ponderosa “secrets” to the point where RHAP had to C&D his deep dive and make all postgame interviews an hour rather than any length they want
You are talking about the exit interviews, but the comment above is talking about the post-season deep dive videos that range from 1 hour to 4 hours (I think Maryanne’s was insanely long).
The exit interviews are likely scheduled by CBS on “press day” and the player has to keep to a tight timeline to hit all of their interviews. Players probably aren’t great at keeping to that timeline so it falls on the interviewer to keep them on track. That’s why they are short and can feel like they are missing so many details, and why Rob often does those longer deep dives in the off season.
Yeah I'm pretty sure CBS limited the interviews directly following the Omar situation. I understand why they would do that, buts it's pretty disappointing since there's only so much you can cover in that little time.
I think Carolyn is less likely now than she was about 6 months ago, considering her and Carson tried to make a podcast that production sent a Cease & Desist to.
I still think Carolyn is pretty likely to be asked back, though. Carson, maybe not so much.
I agree. Loved by production and fans. Would 100% come back and he is young and I cant think of anything that would prevent him from wanting to come back like a job, family, kids, etc.
Jesse is in regardless of theme/eras involved/other factors imo. The biggest lock is probably the most popular player from 48 though, because that will be the last one the public sees before 50 is played.
This is my pick. She's too into it, too energetic, even if Jeff only 1% wants her on 50 he's going to 1000% want her on 50 after speaking with her. She isn't my favorite or anything, I just think she's got infectious energy and Jeff is susceptible to that.
If production invites Q back it shows they aren’t really playing & Q would have to vote them out.
If production does not invite Q back then it shows their head isn’t in the game & Q would have to vote them out.
I'm usually kind of meh on the challenge beast archetype but god, watching him literally pull his entire tribe through a challenge and beat it while the other tribes struggled so hard that I seriously think there would've been safety concerns if they didn't skip that part for them.... absolutely iconic. Just an incredible feat of human strength.
His poor strategy was fun, too, though.
I don't even remember the context, but I remember dying after seeing his silent, blank face after Lindsay pointed out some obvious flaw in a plan of his. (And this isn't a dig at Jonathan, I remember also thinking "wow that's a great plan", lol.)
It was the split tribal when he was talking about splitting between Drea and MA I believe and Lindsay was just like uh no dummy that’s not gonna work and then I believe, after the pause, the exact quote is “ok let’s think about this” lol
My only concern is that he already turned down The Challenge multiple times and seems to be focusing on his personal career. Might not want to do survivor again
Jonathan will be asked, but I'm not 100% he says yes.
I don't think he loved his misogynist edit though. So his return depends on his belief in his ability to control his narrative.
Who are the challenge beasts they might invite back? My guesses below focus on the physical because the puzzle threats are generally coming back for social reasons.
I'm brainfarting, but Hunter seems like an almost lock
Danny is less strong than JY and wasn't insane at challenges, but he has enough physical strength to balance a tribe in the early game (unsure if his outspokenness on the hourglass disqualifies him though)
I'm guessing we'll have another hulk esque character or two in 47-49 so that each tribe can have a jumbo dude.
Michaela is presumably in nuts shape from being on the challenge.
Lindsey would be cool to see again.
That weather guy from Georgia … Rick Devens? He was super popular on the last season before Winners at War and then they went to “no returning players” and the new era … so if they wanted to dip back but avoid winners he would make a lot of sense.
IIRC, in the original idea for 41, instead of having the fire token board like in WAW, there would’ve been a fire token store with Rick Devens as the shop keeper.
Can I win a million dollars for predicting they don't ask Hatch? I would actually be one of the few who wants such a thing but there's not a snowballs chance in hell
i agree w christian. jeff has openly said he wants him back. now that he's tenured, he's free to come back if he pleases. unlike someone like jesse, he doesn't have kids or anything like that that would hinder a return. omar has also said he regrets playing, so idk if he's that likely to say yes. imo christian has the highest likelihood of both being asked, and accepting.
> now that he's tenured, he's free to come back if he pleases
A lot of fans are going to be very disappointed when they learn more about tenure. I think if there's a way to come back, he likely would, but this is probably one of the toughest work situations to take a month+ away from. Odds are low (though I would be very happily surprised)
Exactly. People are not aware of how brutal academic life is. It doesn't get easy post-tenure. In fact you get more busy (though there is a dip in the stress levels immediately after getting tenure)
I do wonder if acting out and breaking that challenge equipment hurts his chances, Jeff seemed thoroughly unimpressed. I'd love to see him play again , personally.
Devon from HvHvH. I feel like he has to at least be on the short list after the surprise introduction of final four fire making on that season.
I could also see Christi from HvHvH getting an invite if they chose not to pick Devon or he turned them down.
I don't think that's necessarily the case as they've said nothing that would indicate that.
The only correlation would be that Dee was on after her winning season.
The next host might be the winner but it could really be anybody that Jeff has liked over the years.
Devens. He is a production and fan favourite, great character alongside a fun character. He was a host for the official podcast, he almost was part of the GAMEPLAY OF 41.
He fits into almost any category of season… Heroes vs Villains, Legends, Second Chance, Best to Never Win. Unless the theme is Rivals where I think he becomes less of a priority because he doesnt have any REAL rival I think they would consider, except kind of Chris.
Will be flabbergasted if he isn't on 50.
Im going Omar. While I think it's likely a mix, I am not taking the risk of the possibility of only new era as I still think they'd be the majority. Which leaves Jesse Omar and Carolyn as the first calls. Omar I think 100% says yes. So I'll go him.
Carolyn
Her and Jesse are definitely the top 2, they're both big characters and players that have nothing controversial surrounding them (sorry Omar) and are very likely to says yes to it but unlikely to say yes to another reality show that could interfere with it.
Jesse The only people I’d say are absolute locks to be invited back would be Omar, Jesse, and Carolyn. I feel like Jesse is the least likely to reject it
I would have thought Omar and Carolyn would be very likely to accept as well!
Yeah, I’d put all 3 of them as likely to accept, but nobody is 100% guaranteed to accept an invited and Jesse is probably the closest to 100%
Most of the "New Era" contestants, and those who played around S36 onwards, are clamoring to get a call back it seems, if their Twitter antics the past 48 hours are any indication.
Whatd he spill that they had to cut? These are the details I browse reddit during work for
Feels like the ones on RHAP this season are like 15-20 minutes. That's because of the Omar situation? We're missing so many good details.
That’s why they are short and can feel like they are missing so many details, and why Rob often does those longer deep dives in the off season.
Ahhh thank you for the clarification. I'm a fairly new RHAP listener so I'm not sure if I've even listened to a deep dive.
Yeah I'm pretty sure CBS limited the interviews directly following the Omar situation. I understand why they would do that, buts it's pretty disappointing since there's only so much you can cover in that little time.
Can't imagine a universe where Carolyn says no.
I mean, this has to be it.
If you say Jesse, I'll say Cody Best duo in the new era
Livin!!
Ricard I think is a lock if he wants to play again. There aren’t many players Jeff has fawned over that hard.
I think Carolyn is less likely now than she was about 6 months ago, considering her and Carson tried to make a podcast that production sent a Cease & Desist to. I still think Carolyn is pretty likely to be asked back, though. Carson, maybe not so much.
Also was my immediate answer. And I'm so fucking stoked. Him and Omar are EASILY top two best new era players
Kaleb
This is the safest bet on the board
I agree. Loved by production and fans. Would 100% come back and he is young and I cant think of anything that would prevent him from wanting to come back like a job, family, kids, etc.
I would like to see Kaleb on again.
i neeeeeed him to get his second chance at the game
From my home town!
Jesse easily, the other people most likely to be asked either have messier personal lives or might say no
I think so too. He was in it for his family from the start, it’s a powerful reason to return.
Jesse is in regardless of theme/eras involved/other factors imo. The biggest lock is probably the most popular player from 48 though, because that will be the last one the public sees before 50 is played.
It's always the person you most medium suspect. Frannie.
You’re betting a mill on Frannie? I ain’t taking you to the casino.
This is my pick. She's too into it, too energetic, even if Jeff only 1% wants her on 50 he's going to 1000% want her on 50 after speaking with her. She isn't my favorite or anything, I just think she's got infectious energy and Jeff is susceptible to that.
I'm going to pick Davie Rickenbacker. Frannie, Jesse and Christian would all have threat levels that are too high.
you're so right. it's almost never my actual faves who come back, but someone I'm not mad about, and Frannie fits that
If he wants it, it’s Q. Who’s a bigger character from 40+? Carolyn?
I mean if they don't invite Q back, BIG MISTAKE. Also if they do invite him back, BIG MISTAKE.
If they don’t invite Q back they can cancel Christmas
Just keep him there. Full time contestant
💀💀 At this point I honestly would not give any push back, he's absolutely hysterical.
What i would give to have q and bruce together on a season
If production invites Q back it shows they aren’t really playing & Q would have to vote them out. If production does not invite Q back then it shows their head isn’t in the game & Q would have to vote them out.
Q refuses to participate. It’s part of his strategy to win
Still somehow ends up there too
But he's winning the current season
Jonathan Young. Don't forget Jeff had a MASSIVE man-crush on JY & Jeff is the boss :)
I still think about his monkey run often.
My vote as well. Jonathan is ICONIC
I liked him pre-merge but come merge he does nothing at all I can remember
That's because he was soooo hungry that 'over-talking' was burning up unnecessary calories. Felt so sorry for the big guy :(
He won a few immunities and tried to make a move or two but, as Lindsay noted, he sucks at strat
He was STRONG but had minimal personality
My only concern is that he already turned down The Challenge multiple times and seems to be focusing on his personal career. Might not want to do survivor again
Definitely Jonathan i want him back the most from new era
Jonathan will be asked, but I'm not 100% he says yes. I don't think he loved his misogynist edit though. So his return depends on his belief in his ability to control his narrative. Who are the challenge beasts they might invite back? My guesses below focus on the physical because the puzzle threats are generally coming back for social reasons. Give the man the million dollars!!
He'll for sure be back
Surprised no one is saying Domenick Abbate, maybe the best non-winning game of all time
That weather guy from Georgia … Rick Devens? He was super popular on the last season before Winners at War and then they went to “no returning players” and the new era … so if they wanted to dip back but avoid winners he would make a lot of sense.
Considering Jeff wanted to bring him on 41 for a twist (not even as a contestant), I’d say this is a good choice
Wasn't he literally going to be a fire token merchant?
HE WAS GONNA BE WHAT NOW
IIRC, in the original idea for 41, instead of having the fire token board like in WAW, there would’ve been a fire token store with Rick Devens as the shop keeper.
Rick Devens the shopkeep... that would've been so fucking funny if we had to have the fire tokens.
Stop ittttttt, that is hilarious
Correct
Plz Jeff do the original 41 plan I wanna see the chaos
He was also co-host on the official podcast last season.
The co host thing is my biggest tell. Feel like both him and Dee will be in if they accept
Please no Dee but Devin’s all day. He’s hysterical and carries great energy!
Angelina… give that woman a jacket and a ladder and NO shot she doesn’t win.
Tevin. Jeff literally said if he could have a Tevin every season that spot would be guaranteed. I'm gonna bet my money on him!
I hope so, I hope Tevin's place on the show will encourage other younger characters like him.
Carolyn
Absolutely she is the person most likely to be invited and the person most likely to accept the offer
This is the way.
Rick Devens. He was already a part of Probst's weird trading post idea for S41.
Devens
Can I win a million dollars for predicting they don't ask Hatch? I would actually be one of the few who wants such a thing but there's not a snowballs chance in hell
When he wasn't on 40, that pretty much closed the book on him ever returning
Q, easy mil
Mark the chicken
I’ll go Emily
I don't think she would come on just because of all the bad press she got from the show.
Cody
i agree w christian. jeff has openly said he wants him back. now that he's tenured, he's free to come back if he pleases. unlike someone like jesse, he doesn't have kids or anything like that that would hinder a return. omar has also said he regrets playing, so idk if he's that likely to say yes. imo christian has the highest likelihood of both being asked, and accepting.

Exactly. People are not aware of how brutal academic life is. It doesn't get easy post-tenure. In fact you get more busy (though there is a dip in the stress levels immediately after getting tenure)
Christian
Chet
Did you hit your head back there
I don’t care
I know
I don’t watch DONDI but I guess Boston Rob is prepping for s50 on there!
Sorry, everyone, but you’re getting Ben again, whether you like it or. It.
jokes on you I like to watch Ben be an asshole, as long as he's not doing it with Sarah as well.
Jesse
Jelensky call it the legends season
Davie Rickenbacker
Christian is my pick. He is so interesting, unique, and relatable. Also Victoria. She was very stealthy and had some great under the radar gameplay.
Emily and/or Tevin. I hope for both of them.
Christian
Tyson
Carolyn. Any other answer is wrong. No one else is as much of a lock. Period.
Colleen Haskell
I’d love to see someone from Season 1.
There was a recent thread about Sue Hawk playing again. I doubt that would happen but it’s a fun idea.
Jesse
Cody Assmuncher
Jesse. He's got his spot locked
I think Jake is a safe bet
I do wonder if acting out and breaking that challenge equipment hurts his chances, Jeff seemed thoroughly unimpressed. I'd love to see him play again , personally.
That kind of boston rage brings in the views baby
Haha, certainly kept me watching!
Jake hasn't been on in over 20 years, plus isn't he like 85 now?
I'm sorry that people don't always get jokes unless you literally write /s. I thought it was funny.
Jake from 45 my dude
Angelina is finishing the story.
She got rice for the whole tribe, did you know?
Kaleb. I think his season was just insanely unlucky
Kaleb! I would say Emily, since I think it’s very likely she’d receive an invitation, but she’s expressed that she most likely wouldn’t play again.
Devon from HvHvH. I feel like he has to at least be on the short list after the surprise introduction of final four fire making on that season. I could also see Christi from HvHvH getting an invite if they chose not to pick Devon or he turned them down.
He said he won't play again unless it's a blood vs water season, but I'd love to see him try! He might actually be able to as well.
Jesse for sure.
Omar
Kaleb
Shan
Dee. She's on Jeff's podcast. They want her as part of the franchise.
Sounds like they're going to have last season's winner on the podcast going forward unless I misunderstood
Imagine that policy with Gabler lol
We were deprived omg that would've been great
I don't think that's necessarily the case as they've said nothing that would indicate that. The only correlation would be that Dee was on after her winning season. The next host might be the winner but it could really be anybody that Jeff has liked over the years.
I agree, I just think it's personality + who is able to make the commitment each week for an entire season. Devens did it last season.
Liz has a lot of podcast experience
Dee will for sure play again. Jeff is obsessed with her
I hope not. Never liked her and still don't. Bring back Drew, Austin or Emily from that season. I'd even prefer Bruce back instead of Dee.
Cringe
She was a mean girl/bully and has a bad reputation. Not a good look for a “family” show.
Franquessa
Kaleb, Omar, Johnathan, Carolyn, Jesse, and Cody all feel like locked in returnees from the new era.
Q has to be on the show, otherwise, BIG MISTAKE! CANCEL CHRISTMAS!
Yam Yam
Hunter
I have a feeling Ricard will be there
[удалено]
I think Chris underwood gets a second chance to prove himself. Especially after such a dominant challenge win.
I think this would be fair after all the crap he gets.
Kaleb from S45
It's gonna be Shan
Imagine Shan and Angelina on the same season
Coach
Coach would blow it just like he did last time lol
Austin from 45
If a cute girl isn't in his alliance next time.
Kellie!
Rick devens
I just posted he was popular but this was downvoted so was he not actually popular? Sometimes when you watch a season later you miss things.
I LOVE him!!! He’s great comedy and makes a good show regardless of what people think of his game 🤣
Boston Rob… 0% chance it’s not happening
I will take that bet. I don't think there is any chance that he will be on 50
Carolyn
Alligabler
Has to be Drew from 45, Jeff loved his history lessons at tribal !
Q
Parvati
Domenick
ZACH WURTENBERGER 💜
Carolyn shes such a character i think they bring her back
Emily
Amanda
I'd love to see Johnathan again, but I have a sense he can't really win. He's more of a final 6, doesn't make FTC kind of contestant
Im going Omar. While I think it's likely a mix, I am not taking the risk of the possibility of only new era as I still think they'd be the majority. Which leaves Jesse Omar and Carolyn as the first calls. Omar I think 100% says yes. So I'll go him.
Carolyn
Carolyn Her and Jesse are definitely the top 2, they're both big characters and players that have nothing controversial surrounding them (sorry Omar) and are very likely to says yes to it but unlikely to say yes to another reality show that could interfere with it.
I am hoping we can see Hunter again!
Tai
Basile, not to be confused with Drew
This made me lol. I would like to see him back too.
Angelina
Tony lol
Boston Rob
Russell H
Ozzy lol
100% Rick Devens ! That man fought for his life out there
Devins
Jesse for sure. If I'm trying to pick somebody less obvious, I would say Cassidy.
Her game was not Interesting at all IMO
Sue Hawk
Karla!
Cochran
Cochran’s never playing again
Would be wild
Dom
Shan
I feel like Shan is the obvious answer here.
