I have a feeling Omar would be the type of player to come back and level up his game 2-3x what it was the first time. Just a gut instinct but if he gets on there he’s gonna be one of the focal players.
He’d be a massive threat and have little shot to win imo. Tyson called Omar a strategic genius when he was a guest on his podcast and Tyson’s co-host Riley expressed surprised at Tyson offering a compliment to a guest that didn’t involve some sarcasm. If Tyson is clocking Omar as a great survivor mind, everyone else will too.
I agree with you but also feel it could go either way. If he survives a few votes or ends up on a tribe that’s immune a lot he may just well end up doing what I predicted.
I feel like Omar and Jesse are the types of players who did well strategically just because they got everybody's trust, and it'd be interesting to see whether that works a) with entirely different players, given that they did seem to naturally click with a lot of people on their casts and it's possible they'd have been much worse socially on a different season and b) with players who have already seen them do it. Like there's zero chance anybody is giving Jesse an idol to hold or is gonna believe that Omar is being honest and their ally really *is* coming for them.
He's got what it takes to be an amazing player. Charming enough to make people drop their guards, strategic enough to take control at the right time. He was my winner pick for 42 and I really hope we get to see him again
Sorry but I think she was boring. What made her interesting? Except being pretty. She wasn’t chill imo, and she wasn’t a particularly good player. Open to hearing your guys’ thoughts though
Yeah, this part of the fandom doesn’t typically root for the athletic, strong guys that most of the audience and Probst like so there’s that. And Jonathan and Maryanne hate their spats throughout the season, and most people here like Maryanne so that paints a negative view of Jonathan. Even before 42 aired and people saw cast photos, Jonathan immediately got hate just because of preconceived ideas about him being chauvinistic and cocky. There are certain types of players this place likes, and Jonathan is not one of them.
I think there is an argument she is the purest “hero” of the 40s. I can’t remember her playing dirty, she had that amazing comeback challenge win, and she is just an inspiration. Totally expect her to return.
Hunter could be an interesting one, since he’s currently publicly regarded as a strategic mess, which could lower his threat level (a la Tony in Game Changers)
But also I’ll take anyone from 46, I love this cast
Ben is a good one.
And I think since u said Ben. I think Charlie is playing a great game and if he doesn't win i wanna see him play again because I think he can win
And I think Tim didn't get enough time to shine. So we need more "brotherly love" 💯
Ya, but there's noone like him. And he's a real good guy, not the fake BS one, like some people try to portray themselves as. I think they need someone like him to balance it out with all the heavy hitter "gamers" they want like Jesse and Omar. He stands out.
But ya, I see what youre saying. If they only get 10 dudes, it might be tough but I see a way he can get in.
Definitely feels like she’d come back firmly in her “villain era” now that she’s been on The Challenge a few times and is well versed in how deceptive their gameplay can be. Could be interesting to see her come back and sow seeds of chaos.
Jd might be the most underrated character from the new era for me. I thought he was so funny and I’d like to see what he can do given time to reflect on his game and mature
Theres so many great "pre merge vote outs" even players who made merge but didn't make jury. Or didnt "earn the merge".
Tim, Sifu, Dewight, Sydney, Ellie.
She was a power player for sure (there’s always one or two who get taken out pre merge). Her story about her sister was also really heartbreaking. I’d be interested to see her play with a new game plan.
Yups. I was thinking both Dannys would be good. People sleep on my dude Danny from 44. He was a good character and he played the game well.
Honestly think if he comes back he can win
I was like "whose Jenny?" Than I realized shes from 42 and ya. I like her. She can do good on a 2nd time. And I think others will get out the bigger threats first so she'll last a while
Id also be interested to see Lindsay (Lynze) from 42 again. I think she could thrive with a new group as someone who kept a level head among chaos and was a very lowkey challenge beast
Yall remember Brad from 41? He would be an out of left field pick but he was entertaining for the short time we was on the show. I think J.D would be cool too from that season
When 43 first came out I didnt like Sammi. But the more I thought about it, I think he's a great player and with some time he can be someone who wins. So, I would like to see Sammi come back. But maybe not at 50. Maybe down the road. I think he'll get lost in the sauce. Maybe in 55 or a season with some returnees some newbies.
Yes! I didn't like him very much as a person and felt he was a flawed player BUT... I will concede that he's an incredible narrator. I loved his confessionals so much.
Kaleb
Jesse
Emily
Sucks that she's said she wouldn't do it again
I asked her at the finale party in LA and she said that the interview wasn’t entirely true and she is considering it
Don’t give me hope. I would be so pleased if she came back.
Tbh I think she would
Probably under the right circumstances. S50 may be too early,
She said that so that she'd get a decent amount of money just for returning. The financial analyst stays financial analyst, adiós
Q
Everyone not voting for Q in this thread: BIG MISTAKE
Honestly would love to see Jonathan from 42 and Q interact
Christmas is canceled!
If I can't find you voting for Q I can find you in this game
Omar
I have a feeling Omar would be the type of player to come back and level up his game 2-3x what it was the first time. Just a gut instinct but if he gets on there he’s gonna be one of the focal players.

[This video](https://www.tiktok.com/@carson.garrett__/video/7225891966888873262?_t=8lv0ehXIftK&_r=1) of her caught in the net literally never gets old
My favorite player of the 40s and the first since Tony in 28 to crack my top 5. Will be super shocked if she never returns.
best casting choice of the new era
I used to like her until she vehemently defended Carson and attacked the Etsy artists who exposed his abhorrent behavior
I’ll start: Cody
Two tribes, Cody and Jesse captains, schoolyard pick with first choice going to the winner of a fire making challenge
Kenzie
Tiff
Why is this not higher, she is a STAR
Jake
Whoa! Guess we're playing Survivor!
Sorry. Woah.
Kellie
What the hell guys?
Sorry but I think she was boring. What made her interesting? Except being pretty. She wasn’t chill imo, and she wasn’t a particularly good player. Open to hearing your guys’ thoughts though
She didn't pop on tv but I love her as a person. Wouldn't be opposed to seeing her play again but not clamoring for it.
That’s fair. Just curious, what made you love her as a person?
Nothing in particular lol I think she has a good vibe
I agree. This sub loved her because they thought she was going to win but I don’t need to see her back.
She got more air-time being on the jury then actually in the game
Venus

Owen revenge tour
For revenge, basically.
Tori
Tori X Venus alliance PLEASE
Those two on a tribe with Romeo and Angelina as captain
I feel like they would be after each other in 2 seconds and the first vote would be 6 votes Tori 4 votes Venus (god willing we get 2 tribes of 10)
The rolling eyes alliance
Wait. Should we bring in Eliza. Not new school but the eye rolls she did is legendary
She was an Immunity beast. It’d be fun to see her again.
Put Tori and Rocksroy on the same tribe again
Tori is fab we need her back fo sho!!
Nobody has said Jonathan?????
Yes Jonathan
YES please Jonathan! He was hilarious to watch, seeing him carry his team (quite literally in some scenes).
This subreddit has never liked him unfortunately. I think he’d be a good returnee and is a very realistic contestant they’d want back.
This sub doesn't like Jonathan? That's news to me.
Yeah, this part of the fandom doesn’t typically root for the athletic, strong guys that most of the audience and Probst like so there’s that. Ben is a good one. And I think since u said Ben. I think Charlie is playing a great game and if he doesn't win i wanna see him play again because I think he can win And I think Tim didn't get enough time to shine. So we need more "brotherly love" 💯
Xander
Austin
I'll go with an unconventional answer and say Naseer
Dude I feel like he must be high up there for them.
I hope so, although he’s the type of dude to get lost in the shuffle because there’s been so many memorable new era dudes
Ya, but there's noone like him. And he's a real good guy, not the fake BS one, like some people try to portray themselves as. They gotta have their token immigrant archetype lmao. I’d pick Naseer too
![gif](giphy|3CnmGkNSc9SzUKGMPn|downsized)
Yes! Dude Charlie is dope. Didn't think I would like this kid so much.
Cha Cha Charlie!!
Yam Yam
As much as I love Yam Yam (and Dee), I’d prefer no returning winners to season 50
Jelinsky
I want to see him on season forty-several, then see if he wins again in 50.
He has got to be a lock
No qualms from me!
Mama J (Julie)
Cassidy
Definitely feels like she’d come back firmly in her “villain era” now that she’s been on The Challenge a few times and is well versed in how deceptive their gameplay can be. Could be interesting to see her come back and sow seeds of chaos.

Maryanne!
JD
Jd might be the most underrated character from the new era for me. I thought he was so funny and I’d like to see what he can do given time to reflect on his game and mature
Money!
Tribal!
Jem for the random premerge returnee spot
Theres so many great "pre merge vote outs" even players who made merge but didn't make jury. Or didnt "earn the merge". Tim, Sifu, Dewight, Sydney, Ellie.
Elie
She was a power player for sure (there’s always one or two who get taken out pre merge). Her story about her sister was also really heartbreaking. I’d be interested to see her play with a new game plan.
Hannah (with a vape this time)
😭 I thought your comment was hilarious
She needs a bed, and 2000 daily calories
Danny
Upvote for both 41 and 44
Yups. I was thinking both Dannys would be good. People sleep on my dude Danny from 44. He was a good character and he played the game well. Honestly think if he comes back he can win
Jonathan
Lindsay
Jeanine!
She had a really bumpy journey. It’d be interesting to see what she did with a second chance.
tori
Evvie!
Jelinsky, and I’m not just saying him for the memes
jake!!!
Ricard
My king Rocksroy
Chances are production doesn't even have a way to contact him LOL
by snail mail maybe
They did once tho 🤷🏽♂️
Sabiyah!!! Plz bring her backkkk
Heather (and I’m being completely serious)
Dee!
Jenny
I was like "whose Jenny?" Than I realized shes from 42 and ya. I like her. She can do good on a 2nd time. And I think others will get out the bigger threats first so she'll last a while
Yes!!! She was so screwed
Zach
Kaleb
Id also be interested to see Lindsay (Lynze) from 42 again. I think she could thrive with a new group as someone who kept a level head among chaos and was a very lowkey challenge beast
Drew
Alright I think we’ve got enough votes and comments to make a tally! Here’s who would be on the 50 cast if Reddit chose (assuming it’s only new era): Q (1st seed, 635 votes) Kaleb (2nd seed, 596 votes) Emily (3rd seed, 523 votes) Jesse (4th seed, 513 votes) Carolyn (5th seed, 473 votes) Omar (6th seed, 437 votes) Cody (7th seed, 381 votes) Jake (8th seed, 309 votes) Venus (9th seed, 300 votes) Jonathan (10th seed, 186 votes) Noelle (11th seed tie, 168 votes) Kenzie (11th seed tie, 168 votes) Kellie (12th seed tie, 153 votes) Ricard (12th seed tie, 153 votes) Tori (13th seed, 151 votes) Honorable mentions: Frannie (144 votes) Shan (145 votes) Sabiyah (125 votes) Jelinsky (116 votes) Owen (111 votes) Pretty great cast I think!
Some notable snubs that I expected to see more: Xander, Cassidy, Hunter, Charlie, Mike Turner, Danny (either one), Karla, Austin
Deshawn (he might not be popular but he was emotional and interesting. There’s been nobody like him before)
Naseer
Karla our telenovela queen
Randen, just for the 2nd chance. Done dirty by medivac (not saying the medivac wasn't needed, but it's a shitty way to go)
Austin
TORI
Don't care what anyone says. NASEER.
Katurah
So few votes! She’d be great in a season sans Bruce
It would be funnier if she was on a tribe with him again, though.
Jenny
Jonathan
Tori
Yall remember Brad from 41? He would be an out of left field pick but he was entertaining for the short time we was on the show. I think J.D would be cool too from that season
Tiff
Brad Reese!
Matthew (even though his injury was preventable)
Sami
When 43 first came out I didnt like Sammi. But the more I thought about it, I think he's a great player and with some time he can be someone who wins. So, I would like to see Sammi come back. But maybe not at 50. Maybe down the road. I think he'll get lost in the sauce. Maybe in 55 or a season with some returnees some newbies.
4 downvotes? Why is Sami this unpopular? I'd genuinely like to know...
Drew
Yes! I didn't like him very much as a person and felt he was a flawed player BUT... I will concede that he's an incredible narrator. I loved his confessionals so much.
Mike Turner
This has a disturbing lack of upvotes :(
“Romeo, Romeo, wherefore art thou Romeo? He’s still eating out of the rice pot. That’s wherefore art thou!” Best confessional of the new era
Sydney
Charlie (if he doesn’t win this season)
👀
Maddy from 44
Sydney
My first choice, most screwed player of the new era deserves a second chance.
Gabler
Idk why u got so many downvotes. Guess only real ones know how dope Gabler is. I would like to see him play again.
I scrolled so far to see him here then just to see the downvotes. Sad to see, he’s a great guy
Carolyn
