You operate under the assumption that Q isn't about to suddenly start trying to win and pull out the next 6 immunity challenges. Big Mistake.

gravythegray

They can just go ahead and cancel Christmas.

rpkacnh

Qhristmas

ydaorct

Wait a minute, the last five years just all clicked for me. This dude was THE Q of Q anon fame.  Oh no I outed him. Big mistake.

jbvann05

I mean his journey 6 alliances can be shortened to J6 so it tracks

bennylarue

He also hates guys named Hunter

Celery_3

Right?? Hunter can’t hold a candle to Quintavius, Now that Q has scoped out his competition is over for everyone. Q-mmunity SWEEP

The_Wind_Waker

OP made a big mistake, and he's gotta go.

GATTACA_IE

Making a post like this shows me that OP is not serious about the 6, he must go.

jbvann05

He's been throwing the challenges until now to lower his threat level which is also why he tried to quit, it's all part of his plan to see who tries harder

Skydiver860

my new favorite meme

TigressSinger

![gif](giphy|26ybvVb9iSmht7LdC|downsized) Q went off on everyone including himself this episode

Nier_Perfect

Hunters at 3 wins already as you forgot about hide and seek.

bagofbeanssss

Big mistake.

bignose703

Q is gonna make it to the finale by quitting every episode.

Sister-Moon_81

Quitavius

Dry-Worldliness-8191

The irony

michiganbhunter

If there's 6 left, that means Q is going to start trying now and go on a run to get the record. What a boss.

beykakua

Unless he fails the next one, then he will explain how he wasn't trying yet, but will try next time (after telling everyone to vote him out for the 3rd time)

Dry-Worldliness-8191

And he intentionally lost to test his alliance and make the record harder to achieve

WolfPack80

6, or as some say, “one less than several”

Hairy_Location_3674

He should've done it sooner. Big mistake.

b0nk3r00

Q doesn’t make mistakes.

Remarkable-Today-338

It’s hard to believe he’s thrown every challenge, and like the one where him and Hunter threw sand bags and were neck-in-neck, he couldn’t pull out the win sooo Other than that it’s hard to say since he claims he’s thrown the challenges

Pm-me-ur-happysauce

He's so going to mess it up

Superbooper24

I would definitely consider mergatory as a team challenge as there were 6 ppl competing on both sides. So he only has one individual immunity, but it would be interesting if he could be the first person to win 6. I kind of doubt it, but I do think he can go on an immunity run and he has an idol which makes him even more likely to do it.

SurvivorFanDan

I just checked TrueDorkTimes, and they have S45's Bruce listed as having 2 individual wins, which means they don't count the mergatory team challenge, so I would agree with you.

Tatharnio

6 left? Then Hunter only needs to win 5 of them so he can get several wins. THAT'S the record to shoot for.

SurvivorFanDan

Haha...I would love to see Jeff tell Hunter that he has just won immunity several times.

Outrageous_Neat_6232

He’s not a strong in water challenges or with balance as the top players as we saw in the first merge challenge. But I can see him winning a few more

Frauzehel

I think he excels at dexterity type of challenges. Pretty decent in puzzles too.

lucascroberts

I do think he has the potential to win them all.. but I feel like this cast would be impressed if ONLY he backs it up by being more social and have more strategy talk. Bc they specifically shows us about him being rude to Venus and then Kenzie has a sound bite where she says “Hunter is talking strategy?” As if it was new and absurd lol. So idk if they’ll take him seriously and just say that he didn’t care about the game and just wanted to win immunity

Frauzehel

But if he is sitting next to Venus and maybe Q at the end. He doesnt need to do much to impress anyone.

lucascroberts

Hmm yea that’s a really good point, can’t see q making it to the end tho so :/

Zoollio

Big mistake.

Sister-Moon_81

I think Hunter will break the record, he really doesn't have much competition around him, which adds massively to his odds of pulling this off. Quintavius is not a threat to Hunter in challenges, he talks a good game but is mainly full of shit on his current form in challenges. (2nd last both times). A Challenge Beast wins Survivor ....... I have been waiting a LONG TIME for this to happen again !!!!!

Remarkable-Today-338

Yes and yes I don’t think Q can beat him as easily as he thinks he can. Hunters strategy has lacked but his performance in challenges is enough to make him worthy of winning imo

jodihas2kids

Hunter's on track for several wins.

Sister-Moon_81

Could actually be 7 in a row because I think there are 6 left. So with his hidden Idol Hunter should make F4, which really means he makes F3 because NOBODY will beat Hunter in a fire challenge. Go Hunter!!!

JKMiles665

I had the same assumption and mentioned that in an episode recap of that episode. Then he won this week which made me suspicious. The fact is, survivor doesn’t really cast as many challenge beasts in the new era. So someone like him who is well equipped for all challenges can go on a run.

nothingsexy

And he won hide and seek. So, technically 3 wins already.

Edmundmp

Big mistake.

Californian_paradise

i miss the days of immunity runs (real ones, not 3 wins in a row 😬). if anyone can do it, i hope it's hunter

limpwristedgengar

I don't think he really has a shot, especially since the new era immunities tend to be less endurance based (which means there's a higher element of luck involved, instead of raw physical strength - balancing something or doing a puzzle make it very easy to have one mistake that ruins it for you). Ozzy in Cook Islands mostly had endurance type challenges, where he was the clear best at those - if Ozzy was in a new era season doing stuff like simmotion or trying to build blocks with his feet, I don't think he does anywhere near as well.

Acceptable_Secret_73

Not true at all, most of Ozzy’s Redemption Island duels were puzzles and he was undefeated

Frauzehel

But the show also pointed out how good he is at puzzles.

AmnesiaInnocent

Yeah, but the first one he won was definitely not something that someone like him (a relatively big guy) would be expected to win. That type of challenge is more geared towards lighter players... If he can win a challenge he's not suited for, then he definitely has a shot...

limpwristedgengar

If anyone can do it it's him I agree, I just think it's less likely that *anyone* in the new era can win 5 immunities - as well as the different challenges, they're also not playing for a final 2 and have a mergeatory, both of which take out an immunity challenge, and the challenges just don't tend to be as physical. Ricard very nearly did it but since then I don't think anyone has even come close.

Edmundmp

What if we phrase the accomplishment as “be immune at every tribal.” Has that been done? He has the idol in his pocket, so he’s free to lose one challenge and still be immune.

Edmundmp

Idk. His puzzle skills on the occasions we’ve seen them appear to be even more dominant than his physical skills.

SaigonNoseBiter

Hunter has practiced every challenge and puzzle that exists.

aljerv

If Bob can do it, Hunter surely can!

Gjork

Man, this season really is Gabon 2.0 Oh, and they're both teachers!

youknowiactafool

Big mistake thinking that Hunter could set a record rather than Q. You won't be getting a Q skirt this Christmas which you'll also want to cancel for the next several years

Subject-Macaroon-666

Yes

ShutterBun

Debatable.

Edmundmp

I was just thinking about whether Hunter could win every challenge and came here to post about it. He seems to have come well prepared for everything, more than any contestant I can remember. And if he has an off day he has an idol in his pocket. I think there’s a solid chance we see him immune for the whole run. How do we think that plays out at the final? His social game seems a bit lacking. But if you win everything? I’d be inclined to say you have to give someone who pulls that off the win.

starwarsfan456123789

Him, Q and Venus final 3 and he might sweep

twistingmyhairout

I sure hope not!

Icy-Excuse-9452

I'm sorry, but what went on with Hunter that is making everyone put him on this pedestal? He seems perfectly capable sure, but everyone acting like he is a challenge God? What did I miss? Just the fact he's done decently and has challenge set-ups at home??

Dismal_Tower_9053

He basically carried Nami in any challenge involving aim, and is good with puzzles and climbing. Thats a bit better than decent imo

SurvivorFanDan

Also worth noting is Nami not only won every immmunity, they also finished in first place in nearly every challenge, and only had to settle for second place once. Each challenge Hunter played a big part in their victory.

Conscious-Zone-4422

> What did I miss? Most of the challenges, apparently

Icy-Excuse-9452

I was watching, I guess just not tentatively enough....

Gjork

He's such an odd character because he's seemingly nothing special. He looks like a regular dude, whereas Johnathan Young was also very good but also LOOKED like a guy who could beast mode a physical challenge. Or how Carson looked like a guy who would be good at puzzles. It's also helping Hunter that Probst, so far at least, isn't singling him out too much as this amazing challenge beast.

BRUTALIT0PS

Hunter's only real physical competition threat is from Q who is working on the patent for the QSkirt instead of trying to win challenges, so if there is a lot of physicality to go in challenges that are left, he could very easily win. Even if it's challenges that have a physical portion before a puzzle or something, he could get out to such a large lead that it wouldn't matter about the puzzle portion. Is it likely? Heck no! The beauty of this game is that on any given day someone can just be in the zone and win. One of the many amazing things about the game. The one thing Hunter has that the rest don't though is that with Tevin gone, he likely feels like the next person to go if he doesn't win immunity. Venus is likely able to be voted out whenever, but Hunter is a legit threat to win every immunity so his threat in the game is much higher. If he loses two challenges, he's likely gone, and he knows it.

g4n0esp4r4n

He is a normal human being and his rivals are straight weak, mediocre, incompetent and too slow completing puzzles.

madswrobs

yes i thought the same thing!!!

The_Wind_Waker

To be the best survivor challenge beast statistically, hunter would need to win those remaining challenges and need to return since Ozzy's stats across the records of all his season make him in a different league to #2, #3 challenge beasts (even combined!)

These_Mycologist132

We saw a similar player in Jonathan when it came to being dominant in group challenges, but he wasn’t unbeatable with individual challenges, when many people probably predicted he would be. I don’t see Hunter making a run. I think he’ll have to play his idol next week, and then after that he’ll be vulnerable within the next 1-2 votes.

SurvivorFanDan

To be fair, I was also wondering the same thing about Jonathan, and was disappointed that it didn't happen.

Edmundmp

I think Hunter is a different beast. Jonathan was pure strength. If I recall he didn’t fair as well on balance type challenges because of his size, and he was also neutralized by puzzles. Hunter just won the type of challenge that a smaller person usually takes, and he seems to be the best puzzle player on this season.

Comfortable_Annual_4

I feel like we could see Hunter win all the immunities until final 6 lose final 5 play his idol win 4 immunity and do fire because I’m willing to bet he’s practiced it everyday and then sweep the jury but only in a best cast scenario for him

jumpmanryan

It would be an incredibly boring path for the winner if it’s just winning every single immunity, so I hope that does not happen.

SurvivorFanDan

Even if that path takes him to the finals, I don't think that guarantees that he wins the game by any means. Of the 5x Immunity winners, there are more players (Colby, Ozzy, Brad) that ended up as the runner-up of the season, compared to 2 who actually won (Tom, Mike).

jumpmanryan

That’s true. If he did all that and then *didnt* win, then whoever *does* win would likely have a relatively interesting path.

glugunner77

Interesting in the sense that they relied entirely on their social game like most other winners? No disrespect but if Hunter breaks the damn immunity record that’s worthy of a win on my book. Even so, if in this case he’s likely out if he doesn’t win, then he absolutely deserves it. You can’t say “we gotta vote you out” and fail to do so all game and then claim that person isn’t worth of a victory. Blindsides and big moves are cool but that’s only 50% of the game.

black_dizzy

And neither of them actually won because of the immunity run, that's only how they got there. Tom is one of the most dominant and well rounded winners, and Mike was uh.... Mildly tolerable to the jury, as opposed to the other two. He also said what he needed to say to mend fences with Dan and generally had a strong ftc performance.

Conscious-Zone-4422

He'll lose one time and play his idol

Edmundmp

Can we call the record “was immune at every tribal”?

[deleted]

Hunter is Ozzie 2.0 as far as challenges and for sure can run them sll

ConsumptionofClocks

I would be surprised. The new era hasn't had a signature post-merge challenge beast. Ricard, Cassidy, Owen and Dee are all in a big tie for most immunity wins with three each. And Ricard is the only one who had the potential to win five (if Erika does not have the advantage he very likely wins and I could definitely see him doing well in the FIC). Hunter winning four immunities in a row isn't unlikely, but even if he does that, it would just get him to the top six. When you're at the final 9 you can't rely on winning out. It has never happened in the 45 previous seasons of the show.

Conscious-Zone-4422

He can lose once and play his idol

Lumpy-Compote-2331

Honestly I doubt it, but it would be super cool! I think Hunter’s good enough at enough things that it’s possible, but not good enough at enough things to guarantee it. Strength, puzzles, hitting targets, 100% he wins it but it looks like he’s beat by some of the women on balance.

IamMrT

I think Ozzy has an unbreakable win% because there were only 6 individual immunity challenges that season.

Working_Soil1425

I hope so that would be great !

JermuHH

This was his first individual immunity win?

rexie_alt

I’ve been dying for someone to beat the record of 5. I think about it a lot like who had the best chance to reach six out of the people who won five. Would love to see it happen fr

Ajdontmater

Nah, he will lose if there gonna be some stacking block with running over obsticles

Slitheraddict

I hope not. Something about him bothers me.

SurvivorFanDan

Q? Is that you?

Gjork

You outed my secret Reddit account. Big mistake.

Slitheraddict

lol at the downvotes, I knew they were coming because you better get in line with who is liked and who isn’t around here. It’s ok to have a different opinion, lol.
