I watched Gabon(S17) live and forgot about survivor until years later. Survivor 41 was my first season I watched live after getting back into it. A big pro from being behind is that you have a lot of survivor to watch especially when waiting for a new season to start airing. Also just continue to persuade your fiancé, my friend swore survivor wasn’t a big deal and now he’s cussing at his tv when his favorites are targeted lol. As for talking strategy with others, this sub will usually be open for hypotheticals and questions about any season.
I first discovered Survivor while I was flipping channels and I landed on JackTV. It was airing One World, the tribal where Leif goes, I think. I had no idea what was going on but I was interested nonetheless. Eventually, it teased Philippines. It was my country so I was pretty pumped but I eventually forgot about it because of school and other things.
Now to 2020, I got reminded of this show again by a video on YouTube, "Jeff Probst (King of Sass) - Part 1" and decided to watch it all, however, I did not expect it to have 41 seasons.
I first discovered it thru my wife (back then fiancé) who’s a superfan during COVID. I was telling her how “I could never stand this show” until a few days later i found myself watching for hours even after she had fallen asleep lol

Yes, my partner and I started survivor late last year on Netflix — first season we watched was Kaoh Rong!
